Metal head here as well but born in the 80's with plenty of 80's films and music to grow up with during the crap decade of poxy Euro pop. Metal is metal and metal is life but there's a certain magical quality about synth-based music from or derived from the 80's. I fell into this genre feet first and haven't started kicking my feet to get back out yet.

Not gonna lie, this was one of the anthems played (at very loud volume) with the top down on a sports car being driven toward a blazing orange sunset on more than one occasion this summer. Definitely recommended and I will do it again next year. Thank you Dana, for helping me live my childhood dream of driving convertibles towards sunsets. 💗

correction: this song is great and uplifting, just the way i like synthwave to be. The Midnight - Endless Summer was my first synthwave encounter and so far still the highest quality i've heard. this song is from the same level. so Le MIrage is now officially one of my favorite synthwave tracks! you and Northern Lights definitely earned my respect :)
