Awesome. I've been going through a crisis throughout this whole year personally and part of it has to do with issues of religion and spirituality. It's good that the guys from Zao have been open with having some of these issue and wherever that leads to is totally up to them but on my side, I'm not going to put off the possibility of a spiritual existence but as far as life goes, the path I will take is the path of autonomy and total control and responsibility for my own life. No gods or rulers, only me, myself and I. Thank you, Zao.

Yes. No gods no masters! I follow the same path. All humans need to start taking responsibility for themselves. If we ever want to see any form of real peace in this life. No religion no government.

Hearing things like this only makes me love this band even more. You just can't win in the music world as a "Christian proclaimed band" People will expect you to be something on the level of a worship pastor and if you do anything that doesn't go with their "brady bunch" traditional values they will crucify you as the Romans did to Jesus. Zao inspired me to write my first EP "Dead Angels" in that same sort of grim, non-praise, realistic format of spirituality. I can't thank this band enough for existing and doing what they do. Real people with real spiritual mindsets will understand the messages.

Dan has the right idea of Christianity. It's a shame that closed-minded Christians treated them poorly because of their lack of understanding. They have things to learn of Hod, jus like we all do. Forgive them. Jesus was accepting of EVERYONE in His path, inviting EVERYONE to receive God's love. We are to do the same.

All to often Christians are their own worst enemy. As a Christian myself, moments like this make me sad. I'm sorry for their experience and that their church couldn't see past themselves.

Well certainly you never want bad situations and experiences with people who profess Christ to actually shape and mold your feelings an thoughts about the actual God! God is God and and He is constant where people, even Christians are not...maybe some of those people in his old church now see Christian extreme music as not necessarily false and bad. I mean music, whether it’s hymns, pop music or even extreme metal CAN glorify God!

@cryaloud1611 When Jesus was on earth he was considered an outlaw by most. He hung out with the people that everyone hated. I grew up in a christian household that had the usual christian standards. I got saved when I was 7. Kinda played church till I was 16 and lived a crazy life. And where im at now is really finding who God is. Jesus loves you exactly where you are. No matter what you believe he loves you. He does call us as Christians to live a higher standard. Of someone who doesnt know him

It wasn't hypocritical Christians who died on the cross for you- it was Jesus. If you have a best friend, and that person is truly your best friend, no one else can take that friend away from you except you. Christianity is based on Christ; not Christians. If you really care about Him, you will be in the friendship for the long hall regardless of what other friends Jesus has. They may be saying the same thing about you. They may be asking why Jesus is friends with you, and He may be defending you to them. Hope you guys come back to the gospel. You make awesome music.

Problem is the friendship analogy doesn’t work so well when you are talking about the lord of everything. Also, Christians are the body of Christ and they are following Jesus and living out the Bible. If there is a problem with them, it should raise some questions about Christ.

I’m glad they continued to push into what they are known for and didn’t listen to the fake people who where mean to them. I wish Christian could stop acting like they are God. God is our judge not man

Christians aren't judgmental. People who refer to themselves as Christians (Christian means follower of Christ), yet lack the love of others that Jesus had/has are judgmental. Just because someone calls themselves a good person doesn't mean that they are, just like someone who calls themselves a Christian doesn't make them one or mean that they even care to be a follower of Christ.

@cryaloud1611 But we can never be perfect. There has been many things added to what the bible originally said. I judge what I feel is right. By what the original word says, and what God puts in my heart. I dont think tattoos are wrong because the word talks about Jeus having a tattoo. I do believe that getting drunk is wrong because it says that God is not the author of confusion. And drinking alters you mind. But the point is that we all have diffrent beliefs. What matters is where our heart is

Some people like to "run" other people. Now if you`re into that shit, just pick a god, your favorite god (with it`s manual), and put it in your pocket. Make the rules to your religion as you pick & choose which lines in the manual to enforce on yourself (and others). They made it easy to do by numbering each paragraph.

To me the way you dress and look should not be problem it's not to God but ''RELIGOUS'' people judge the outside they want you to be a mold of ''THE'' perfect christian but that will never happen cause we still fall and sin. Only Jesus is perfect and we have to follow him and turn from our ways BUT I believe Christians should have music, movies and books we don't have to restrain ourselves from something God created!
