FYI... Slight correction, The SP-01 Tactical is decocker only. The regular SP-01 is the safety model. So, you do not have the Tactical there. It would also say Tactical on the slide. The shorter version you talk about is the P-01.

CZ is becoming one of those brands that deserves more attention.

The dwx is cool in my opinion. The reason it's not optic cut is because it would be way to awesome then and to much awesome is to much. Great video.

I’ve been buying up Staccatos..and other 2011s as of late but, my CZs are incredible. I got suckered into buying the CZ 75 SP-01 Competition model (should’ve went CGW). I still love it but could’ve saved $$$. Just grabbed a DWX today. I’m stoked!

I absolutely love CZ(and I’m not a hipster) one of my favorites is the P09/07 it’s not the most popular gun,but I love them I wish CZ would do like a steel frame competition improved version or even like a tungsten impregnated polymer frame or just something to get some heat behind the P09/07’s.

The bore axis actually is lower on the sp-01. Bore axis isn't relative to the trigger, it's relative to where your hand is gripping on the back, where you will feel the recoil. Granted, it's a marginal difference, basically the height of a pic rail segment. So does it matter that much? Probably not. The DWX is a hybrid design after all, literally trying to take the best aspects of 1911s and CZs. My biggest gripe is no optic cut. Like CZ makes amazing guns but they just won't make OR versions of so many great ones, and they discontinue so many models. Like at least modernize. The sp-01 should have an OR version out right now and they don't and it's a mystery. Nowadays their "modernization" is putting the shitty unimprovable omega triggers in to cut their costs.

Just got my DWX back from Vulcan Machine and they buried a Aimpoint ACRO P-2 in the slide. Highly recommend getting it cut

Another original SP01 fan here, and since it has no decocker, it's a locked and cocked dedicated pistol. But I do love the decocker on the original SP01 Phantom.

What kydex holster is that?

I own the CZ 75 SP-01 Tactical. Bought it from a neighbor. I think it's a great gun and I love the way it feels and how it shoots. But I really can't stand how shallow that slide is. Perhaps a good Red Dot would give me something to grip on to a little better

A more fair comparison would be the DWX against the Shadow 2 sao. Comparing a sao to a da/sa is apples to oranges.

I wish the someone would make an option to make a 1911 style trigger for a cz sp01, thats all i want because i cant afford a dwx

couldn't agree more with your take on CZ. quality and function.love the DWX as well. have you gotten your hands on a TS Czechmate? Even a lowly TS2 is amazing. like you said SAO though.😅 I still feel the answer to all questions handgun can be answered: czechmate, shadow 2, shadow 2 compact... and revolver! (or DWX/compact). depending on the application. I'm absolutely cool without the optics cut on the DWX. it's so accurate, i learned, and love the irons. thanks for the videos!!!!

The bore axis argument is incorrect. Although the trigger may be at the same height, the reciprocating part is far smaller on the CZ, weighs less and is higher than the DW. You're argument was kinda silly.
