DO NOT PURCHASE GIRSAN FIREARMS UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO SPEND MORE MONEY IF THEY NEED WARRANTY SERVICE. In order to obtain warranty service from EAA, the purchaser must pay shipping costs to and from EAA and must send and receive the gun through an FFL, who of course will charge you. Total costs could easily exceed $75. ($15 to send to EAA, $30 to return (per EAA), and at least $15 each way for the FFL. I own two Girsan MCP35 PI models: an early PI models (curved trigger, no pic rail, no optics cut, mag disconnect). It shoots fine and the mag trigger disconnect really is a non issue for me. That lead me to purchase one of the updated PI Ops models with the optics cut, flat trigger and pic rail. On the larger 4.88" model, you must choose between those with a pre-installed optic and those with no optics cut. On the smaller 3.88” PI model, the pistol comes with the rear iron sight attached to the optics cover plate. I've had three other experienced shooters at my range shoot the gun and for all of us, the same results -- The point of impact is several inches low. We believe the rear sight sits too low, although it's possible the heavy trigger (which may improve some with use) is a contributing factor. Not only must you raise your point of aim, but the front sight must be held above (not level with) the rear sight. I'm familiar with the differentiation between "target" sights and "combat" sights, but this issue goes well beyond that. Has anyone else had this issue with the MCP35 PI Ops model where the rear sight is part of the optics cover plate??

I kind of like the moderator on the clone, but the Tisas is more practical. They both shoot the same caliber, so I would just choose the Tisas, even though the clone MAC looks cool(ish).

The Tisas PX9 Gen 3 was my first handgun at 300 bucks. Came with a hard case, backstraps, 18 and 20 rnd mags, about a 4 lb crisp trigger (been chasing after something similar for my new cc), removable magwell and, a cleaning kit. Talk about value!

I love Tisas pistols. The 1911's, Night Stalker 2011, 5.7... They all run and are accurate at cheaper prices than Rock Island, Springfield, FN, Ruger, and Kimber... the companies they are "competing" with.

Depends on the purpose. Tisas for EDC. The Masterpiece is more balanced for longer firing sessions that require a second hand stabilization.

S&W and Ruger are gss op. Is the 400$ price due to not gas 0p.? How many companys make 5 7's and how many are gas op compared to blow back . The next Canadian government will let us buy hand goons again . We HOPE !

  • @TheJimminiShow

Honestly I hate my p320x carry legion.. I was so excited to get it and then after shooting it I was extremely disappointed. Plus with the p320 apparently having issues going off by itself, it now has me sketched out to carry with one of the chamber.. which is why I'm going to sell. Plus the trigger still feels like garbage. Like you said, sometimes with a fraction of the price you get something better.. in this case, I picked up a tisas night stalker.. it drill holes.. and the trigger is way better.
