@Dan Vasc; as a Christian man, I will say that you as a metal singer did this song more justice, than most milk-toast "churches" do, or half hearted musicians. I would not at all mind it if you covered this song again with ALL the verses. God bless you.

I am an 82 year old great grandmother. Of all the music I have heard in my long life AMAZING GRACE sung by DAN VASC is without a doubt the best SINGER and best song I have ever heard. I listen to him last thing before I go to bed and first thing when I wake up. He soothes my soul . Georgia USA

I love the fact that you started by talking about how much you love the Dropkick Murphy's version . . . then by the end you were speachless and saying this is best version ever really shows how incredible Dan's version is.

NO version that I have ever heard of Amazing Grace can even begin to compare with Dan's version...The way he sings this song is PHENOMENAL...it goes deep within my heart and touches my very soul...NO ONE will ever out do Dan's Amazing Grace!!! So very glad I found him...tears of joy!!!

You are speechless right? Me, too! I have seen Celtic woman twice live, I cried, I always cry but this is beyond any version I have seen. GOD has given this young man such a beautiful and versatile voice, he is also humble. Dan is the man!!!!

I showed this to my father and he said the same thing. He’s always said he wants Amazing Grace played at his funeral but he never cared which. Now he wants this specifically to throw everyone for a loop when the metal begins 😂

Dan Vasc is amazing. Nothing surprises me with what he does now. The man is Genius.

He does leave you speechless, he's absolutely magnificent ❤

Among all other renditions this I feel is the ultimate and the best. This is because it brings out the power, Majesty and the thunder of God Almighty. It is like the lion of Judah roaring in all His Glory with such thunder and might. Yet beautiful and uplifting and I imagine a mighty eagle flying triumphantly in all its glory. I have no other words to express. All other renditions don't capture the Majesty, thunder of God Almighty and His grace. It is phenomenal. Only this rendition captures that moment of power. Amazing job by Dan Vasc and I thank you for giving a gold and good review for this song.

June 20, 2023. When Dan's video popped up on my feed one week ago, as a Christian I was prepared to be offended. I thank God I listened. I am blessed by this rendition daily. I've been "Vasc"inated and I can't get enough. God gave him talent and he has honed it to perfection. Truly amazing. ❤

Absolutely the best version of this song. Again Dan takes a soft or weepy song and turns it into a warrior's victory anthem. I want this played at my funeral. "But not yet..." Hail Vasc Nation. 💪❤️✝️

The Dropkick Murphys do this song better live than they do on their album. Unfortunately, both their versions seem to make too light of this song. Whereas Dan Vasc, is the metal singer who did it more justice than most churches, gospel singers, or secular singers have.

God is doing an amazing thing in these times.. I am overwhelmed and so blessed by this song.. and this gifted man!! I wonder if he knows how much God loves him to bless him ( and us ) with his voice! ?. I cannot stop listening and sending it to everyone… Our God is amazing and gives us His Amazing Grace.. we are to accept it.. Believe in the death of Jesus to pay our penalty for what we deserve.. He knows. That's how he was able to perform it this way. Most artists have recorded "Amazing Grace" for the sake of showcasing their unique technique in reinterpreting a popular favorite. That's why most reactors have expected Dan to drop right into the growls, drums, and electric guitar on the second verse. You can't achieve this level of performance except when what you are doing is using your abilities to showcase your unique *relationship* with and understanding of the song. Because of that, I frankly found PTX's cover boring. All of them but Matt looked like they were just singing a song they knew was popular and putting in what they thought they were *supposed* to be feeling about it. To maybe enrich your understanding, Dan loves to make "power" music to power up your day. Belting out growls at the top of his range is how he expresses joy. Also, the harmonica is a treasured gift from his late father, who died of cancer in 2017.

I hadn't heard Dan Vasc before today. I'm completely overwhelmed. You almost didn't need to SAY anything. Your face and your body language said it loud and clear. My reaction was the same as yours. I was instantly stunned and speechless, consumed by waves of unexpected emotion. Its been a couple months now i think since i first heard it. As a relatively new "Christian" i was totally enraptured by Dan. I think i watched it 5 or 6 times just so i could process all the emotions. I immediately posted it to my FB page and all my friends were blown away too. I am talking about people from their 30s to the late 70s. Can you imagine a 77 yo woman being brought to tears by this? As one friend pointed out, this version could usher un a new generation of believers, seeing that a religous song can be performed in such a style that resonates with them. Dans rendition is utter PERFECTION in my book!!!

I had it tough for a lot of years I lost my Dad 2010 first my mother 2016 to dementia and my brother my only sibling to alcoholism 2018 God doesn’t let us go through trials alone Though my parent deaths were very tough I knew they were in Heaven My brothers was the most difficult because I don’t know where he is spending eternity but God came through with a strength I never knew I had ! though I cried for many days and months This give me a purpose to talk to many people about God’s grace for us My husband and my only son has special but he is a gift from God He shows me Christ everyday God bless you dearest sis and you live in India All my love xxxx
