On this episode of Dan the Star Man, I present the FULL show of the sixth performance of the Disney on Broadway Concert Series in the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts 2024.
The Disney On Broadway Concert Series takes place in the America pavilion in EPCOT at the America Garden Theatre. It occurs during the following showtimes at 5:30PM, 6:45PM, and 8:00PM during the Epcot International Festival of the Arts from January 12th to February 19th.

This Disney On Broadway Concert Series performance features 2 stars from different Disney broadway musicals. This Disney on Broadway Concert features Bradley Gibson & Shoba Narayan. Bradley Gibson plays the role of Hercules in the Disney broadway musical Hercules. Shoba Narayan, on the other hand, plays the role of Princess Jasmine in the Disney broadway musical of Aladdin.
Bradley Gibson & Shoba Narayan perform the Disney on Broadway Concert series in the EPCOT Festival of the Arts on the following dates on February 10th, 13th, 14th, 16th, and 17th.
Bradley Gibson and Shoba Narayan begin their performance with the classic song that everyone loves "A Whole New World" from the Disney hit broadway musical Aladdin. They sing it very beautifully and amazing.
Shoba and Bradley are both really excited to be here at Epcot for the first time ever for the Epcot International Festival of the Arts as part of the Disney on Broadway Concert Series. Bradley and Shoba are so excited that they don't want to leave Epcot or Disney World. And plus Shoba is totally staying put.
Before they go further and continue the rest of the performance, they introduce us to their awesome and talented band.
They got Jeremy on drums
They got on Bob base
They have on Mike guitar
They even got Robert on keyboard
And last but certainly not least, they have their incredible musical conductor and arranger Mr. Jim Abbott.
The next song Shoba Narayan sings for us is from the first Disney broadway show Beauty and the Beast. The song is basically called “A Change in Me”. This song is a true coming of age song encapsulating the essence of self-discovery and in basing all those moments in life that seems to be throwing you a plot-twist.
What makes Disney on Broadway shows more exciting to watch and perform is not only the incredible songs or clever lyrics but its because they are a bit of a reflection on all of us. The next 2 songs are from the Lion King and Aida. Aida tells the story of forbidden love across racial defiance. But first they cover the Lion King and they find Simba suffering through loss while desperately trying to find his path. Bradley Gibson sings the song from the Lion King which is called "The Sun Will Rise". Additionally, Shoba Narayan sings the song “Ripping the Stars” from Aida and she sing it with Bradley Gibson.
Bradley Gibson recently started playing the character Hercules on the Hercules show on broadway. Their great composer wrote some newer songs for the Hercules show on broadway. They also included a new song to introduce Meg and more specifically when Hercules and Meg first meet each other. Hercules is training to become a god, and he hears the shouts and screams of a woman in distress. And he sees Meg being captured in the grips of a monster so he runs to save her. Bradley and Shoba does what looks like a little planned out improve dialogue and it looked like it was from the broadway show itself and Shoba Narayan and Bradley Gibson goes straight to singing this new song called "Forget About It" from Hercules together. Plus it involves Shoba being with only one shoe on her during half of the song. Also notice that Shoba Narayan and Bradley Gibson goes off the stage in the middle of the audience, closer to where I am, and it's so cool that Shoba and Bradley are actually part of the audience during some of the song.
Next, Bradley Gibson sings the Hercules song that is my true favorite and its from the movie as well, you know it, you love it, everyone loves it. The song he sings is “Go the Distance” .
Lastly, Bradley Gibson and Shoba Narayan conclude and end their performance with one more song. So they conclude their performance with the song “Love Is An Open Door” from the Disney broadway musical Frozen. "Okay can I just say something crazy? I love crazy!" Notice how Shoba and Bradley start the song by sitting on the staircase in the middle of the stage and I think it's really cool that they do that.
