This is what I think of as a "Real" van dweller. Nothing fancy or too expensive, just a simple, practical home in a van. Obviously refined over the years through use and different ideas. Dan, you have a great home! Thanks for the video Seven!

That was my first thought when I heard him speak.

The TV is as big as his bed, but man's gotta have his TV! What a creative guy, and ingenious build. Love the bed and recycled cabinets Well done!

I’ve known Dan cause of KZread for some time but this is the best tour I’ve seen. It goes to show it doesn’t take a ton of money to get out there & enjoy living. Loved the way his stove mounts, many ingenious ideas incorporated into it. Thanks.

That was a good tour! That van (well, not necessarily THAT van, but that model) was not too common but well loved by those who had one, back when I was in high school. I would have guessed it was a 64 or so because of the squared off body style as they were starting to try to get a jelly bean corner everywhere that they could. No, I am incorrect. I drove a 69 Cutlass SS (Oldsmobile) but mom and dad both drove a dodge. He had a 3/4 ton club cab and she drove a Nova. The truck (retired about 10 years ago, great truck!) had the same headlights and square corners. What a great van for a van build! And a blast from the past. I like the touches he put in. Nothing fancy but organized, compact so half the van is open real estate and it looks great without needing any doodads or Pom poms. The original modern design. I wonder how much head room he doesn’t have. He is over 6 feet, I would guess , and you only see him sitting. But it seems to work okay, though maybe not. Does he sit to cook? Did he spend much day time in the van? Thanks for posting! I have followed your other channel for some time, I think you were 5-6 videos in when I started but never knew about this one. KZread showed it to me and I clicked to see the van. I might wander around this channel for a while and see what else I find. Thanks for taking the time to post this! R

First time I’ve seen inside of Dan’s van .... very nice.... I also saw my big van in the background. We did have a good time at that van build .... I think that was when I first met you as well. Hope you are well 7!
