Yes agreed, later in life when they become adults and they look into the hit on their dad. I suspect though, that the ex wife, her brother and their parents, will never confess. Very sad. If my dad was murdered, I would never ever leave one stone unturned.

They do walk among us. And they include lawyers, money managers, and even opportunisticly-appointed judges among them. Would only that the FBI made public corruption its highest investigative priority, scams to defraud families - and wipe up the evidence of a crime with a final ‘‘hit’ if necessary - would not be allowed to happen. Sad that such crimes, in progress, fall on deaf ears when they are reported. Sad that the FBI does not take such matters seriously enough to follow-up on, when lives are at stake.

Come on now... juries differ, for example some juries have hung on a certain case and then the next jury has found the person guilty or acquitted, yet it's pretty much still the same case... I see what you're saying but you must see my point as well... just a certain makeup of a jury, say there were more men or old people (which would be more inclined to want to believe in a female's innocence) are on this particular jury, which I don't know if it was the case or not, they probably felt like this little kitten couldn't have done what she accused of... yet she's the link between the family and the guy that pulled the trigger... like I said am I missing something, how can they find him guilty and her not when there's not even a link between the victim and the murderer if she doesn't exist in this equation.. I don't understand why the jury voted the way they did... put it down to excellent jury selection from the defence and the prosecution really hit out on this one

@@daijarel Hope youre not a betting person, you wouldve lost $$$$. The allegation is uncalled for and unduly insensitive given its a MURDER case for which the shooter(s) and not ALL the 'killers' have faced justice. Only the "killers" benefited from the act and none of us deserve to be unfairly associated with them w/o evidence. You missed the word "EVIDENCE" in my post and that makes the difference in interpretation. By EVIDENCE I mean whats admissable in a court of law. We all have our opinions of what we think happened or how the dots join up (court of public opinion) but theres a different threshold in positing this as EVIDENCE in a court of law. Rivera pled guilty and confessed bc there was cctv EVIDENCE against them... Sigfredo was found guilty bc there was powerful witness testimony (Rivera)= EVIDENCE and he was a passenger in the car caught on cctv=EVIDENCE Katie was 10-2 mistrial most probably bc there was neither enough EVIDENCE to convince 12 jurors nor a witness tying her to the conspiracy. FACT unless you have proof otherwise. Had there been a witness or cctv evidence she would most likely have been convicted. I'm sure you and I will agree that stating a legal standpoint is different from exonerating or siding with anyone, its simply opinion underpined by legal principles. Question: Are you also suggesting the jury were "sticking up for her" when they failed to reach a unanimous verdict?

The lack of ever feeling real punishment makes people think they can do anything. It's not exclusive to people in wealth and power. I don't wish punishment on anyone but it's as if some time in jail with some of the real hardcore criminals can wake people up before it gets to this point of trying to commit murder. It's as if some pain can be good for you to prevent this. IF you've never had your freedom taken away, had to make ramen crap noodles (and think of that as a huge ass luxury) you never really know how special freedom is until it's been taken away. There are obviously other ways, not everyone tests the boundaries but... yeah. Learn from others mistakes guys

You don't go and kill someone without knowing all the facts. This women had her part to play , it the information that hasn't been considered the car information to do the hit, you don't travel from another state to do a hit without a price tag for it and where the money coming from to do this hit, the source of supply, the motive for the hit.

@@TarDan20 At this point I wonder if the brother was just very cagey and never actually asked her to do it. But just heavily implied it and she picked up the cues. Thinking If I do this for him he will take care of me and my kids. Along the lines of what Joey Buttafucco did to Amy, he never told her to kill his wife. But went on and on how he can't divorce. But if something happened to her he would marry Amy in a heartbeat. It was a lot of manipulation on desperate women. So she can't really testify that they conspired together. The biggest problem is the DA can't link it together. Other than she got a cushy paid job, never had to go into work and do anything. That's the only link I can see. And I don't think they can touch the ex-wife, and parents there is no proof of her involvement. And they have the money to mount a massive defense.
