And that video was released IMMEDIATELY to TMZ which is why we all saw it so quickly. I would be surprised that the PD dept didn't contact them directly about that video and it was up to Jay Z to file a complaint but I guess he choose not to. At the end of the day it's always up to the victim to actually press charges and he didn't. If this video of Cassie was released as soon as it happened and she choose to not press charges then that would be a different story however this video was bought and paid for so it wouldn't even get to that point.

I use to work at the front desk of hotels celebrities stayed at, they not only rent the floor they pay that no one from the staff enters the floor without approval, like you would have to have a fire to warrant going on the floor.

Diddy was so narcissistic that he didn't destroy the video when he bought it. He probably re-watched it for the power trip of it.

That's not how settlements work. You can't void your own settlement by admitting guilt. Imagine Cassie getting a cash settlement and then Diddy admits guilt and ask for his money back. Admitting guilt doesn't void a settlement.

1. He should not apologize while the lawsuit is active. For legal strategy. That is correct. 2. However, in addition to denying the accusations, he ADDED that she is a LIAR and that this was a MONEY GRAB. Which are not necessary and actually not good for a legal strategy.
