Thank you for posting the lecture, it was very informative. I would be interested in hearing more about Dan’s material. As someone who recently started to focus more on their sexuality and identity as a gay man, I believe it would be very helpful to explore more deeply some of the points mentioned in the lecture.

Brilliant and inspiring. And very comforting to realise there are people out there with such deep understanding of the complexity of gay men's life, even if they are on a different continent :) Thanks for posting!

For a variety of reasons, my sexual life is largely over, but that doesn't mean I haven't benefited from reexamining my sexual past with the help of discussions such as this. I wish I'd figured a lot of this out while I still had my sexuality, but you don't have to wait until it's too late. You can come to see your sexuality differently right now.

This was really wonderful. I would add that when I was young I was constantly shamed for not been masculine enough. But weirdly, the same thing happens in gay culture. How many guys on dating apps advertise themselves as masculine and/or are seeking someone masc. The message comes across loud and clear that if you're camp or effeminate, you're not attractive. Shame breeds shame.
