Ige def a G but Diego was up against a roller coaster of emotions and challenges. Weight cut, calls at 3am short notice, last minute drop out against an opponent who didn't have to cut wait. Oh by the way only a few hours notice this time.

Lopes had to cut weight and change his game plan for a fighter he didn't prepare for. Ige is a stud, but don't take anything away from Lopes. Both guys are G's.

Zen mode at the spa, get a phone call to fight at international fight week, within 4 hours against a pretty damn good opponent, Co-Main slot, then assembling his corner Avengers mode...ahh man ..😎👏 fkkn awesome! This was nothing but a win-win opportunity for him. And kudos for Diego! If it was anybody else, they easily could have not agreed to the last minute risky match after Ortega dropped out. That is BMF behavior from both of them 🤜🤛

Hate to be that guy but I keep seeing all these new Dan Ige interviews now and can’t help but think it’s just bc 1) Diego Lopez didn’t impress or get the finish like people wanted and 2) McGregor fell off the headliner . Let's not make such a big deal for something taking a fight on a moments notice. If you're a true legit fighter, you're a professional in all aspects of life, and can fight with anyone in your weight class at the drop of a hat. The problem is, too many of these guys are undisciplined, and need 6-8 weeks just to get the excess bodyfat off.

Dan is boring as fuck. He only KOs cans and he always loses the step up fight. Nicksick cannot train hawiians to win
