He's known for the big overhand right, but he also has a tremendous left hook. Greco Roman and Folkstyle wrestling pedigree. Dirty Boxing and Ground and Pound master. Underrated threat with the guillotine, he may not be known as a submission artist but he knows how to threaten with guillotines to control a fight. A great inside leg kick, he's no kickboxer, but he has mastered getting into punching range and off balancing strikers when they kick him. A simplistically complete fighter. Truly up there with Randy. They were both master tacticians.

Bisping was talking mad shit before the fight like wouldn't shut up and didn't stop with the insults. I would have smiled too, if I was in the same situation. I bet if bisping would have kept it respectful before the fight, Dan wouldn't have followed up with the unnecessary shit and he wouldn't have smiled, that big. I digress, it was one of the defining moments in the UFC.

I miss Hendo. I was lucky enough to get into MMA at least before Hendo retired. One of the earlier cards I watched was Hendo vs. Bisping 2 but I had been following him for a while before then and did a KZread dive on him. In my mind, he's a guy I think of as a "Legend". I know there's people who've been watching longer but we all have to start somewhere.

The defining moment for me in the Hendo legacy is him talking about his fight with Bisping. Bisping was such a disrespectful prick during The Ultimate Fighter that Hendo deliberately finished him off with the flying hammer fist and then used that image as his logo for his MMA Fighting School!

This is great, I miss Dan Henderson, one of the all time greats. Those Pride days in Hendo's prime, he is possibly top three middle weights of all time if not possibly the best in his era. That ugly over hand right man if he hit you wit that you was out , and the man had strength like a chimp, his wrestling mixed with his brawling like punch for punch style like a damn hockey player 😂 . That ruggedness them ole school fighters like Rampage Jackson, The Axe Murderer Silva, The Predator Don Frye, Big Daddy Goodrich, Vitor Belfort, even a Bj Pen and a young Nick Diaz and you can't forget Fedor. Them fighters were different animals back then. Helluva era

Miss the days of the Hendo Hand. I love when a new sport starts finding it's way and tons of art styles are being put up against one another to see how they stack up. Now a days the hard research has already been done and every fighter is just a mix match of the same techniques which is awesome in it's own right but no longer excited me like it use to.
