This video blew my beard game wide open. I'm 5 or 6 months into my first real beard and I've been lost in all the contradicting advice you can find online. I ended out with a routine I found at a different channel but I was never really satisfied with the result. I have a quite curly and natural looking beard and styling it to look even remotely straight proved difficult. I stumbled upon this video last night and figured I'd give it a try. This morning I tried following your routine for the first time and I'm already loving it. My beard is looking much more controlled and isn't pointing straight out which was almost the case before. And I don't have the curls/waves in the sides like I did before. The differences between my old routine and this seemed insubstantial at first glance, but I now see there are definitely some eye-openers in there for me such as leaving the oil in for a few minutes before continuing, the way you dry and comb it and especially how gentle you are with the brush. All this differs from my old routine. Lastly I'll just say that you're a pleasure to listen to. You don't sound scripted and you're not over excited and in my face. None of which applies to the majority of channels I've encountered.

I may need to try using my comb, I currently use a boar brush to blow dry with and that may be pulling on the hair too much. Overall another great video. Your going to be the 2K king before you know it!

Also, you are missing out not mixing scents! I wore 5 drops of the Grower with one drop of Belfast from Chesapeake. It was wonderful!

I agree, the blow dryer is definitely key for me and my curly beard. My routine is shower, pat dry, heat shield spray, blow dry on warm, add oil, get dressed, blow dry again on warm, add balm, blow dry on warm and finish with cold. Its alot of drying but my beard looks awful without it. I use a heat brush for extra stubborn days.

Cool to see someone else's morning routine. Interesting, I use beard oil for my skin and then balm to condition and hydrate my beard. I also use mustache wax as part of my routine. I've never used a blow dryer on my beard, I typically use beard balm to style.

I always love to see other people’s morning beard routines. Yours is pretty similar to mine...the only real difference is I don’t put as much care into styling my beard; I did when it was a bit shorter, but it’s pretty long these days (to the third button on button down shirts) so I just keep it conditioned and let it do its thing. Another great video bro!👍
