DAMPA fresh SEAFOOD PALUTO at CUBAO FARMERS MARKET
I promised Emma a fresh seafood lunch and what better place to go than Cubao Farmers Market? The fresh seafood paluto at the Dampa is probably the best in town and great fun buying all the seafood first at the market.

You two are so sweet ❤ and you remind me of my husband
Food looks great, keep up the good work.Thank you.
Just watched early this morning. And we're on our way now to Cubao Dampa from our province Nueva Ecija. Dampa Macapagal is our favorite, you better try there at Huey Ying it the best paluto restaurant. Will gonna try now in Cubao. Thank you for your video.
It all looks winner Marshall! Take care 🤙
You're in a good place Sir, Enjoy!
I love seafood. That market is so organized. I thought you were going home to cook it, it looks so good.
nice seafood meal🤪, better than chunks "T" bone steak here in Coles Chapel St. 😎
Those sea foods are fresh and delicious. Enjoy!
Aaawwwww, you guys are so sweet
Haha Mr.. Marshall.. Your lady escort is so funny when she said the steamed eyeball is hers 😳😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hello sir Marshall great vlog watching from pampanga
Been wait since facebook post yeee thanks for the sights and sounds marsh!!
The fish market looks clean and very ordered 👌
I only buy hard to find fish and all ingredients for Papaitan at Dampa Cubao before we travel for our weekend out of town trip. I love sweet & sour lapu lapu.
those food looks so delicious. Fresh from the market and into the cooking pan. Nice to see you and Emma trying this out. Thanks ! !
Saw your hand shaking i hope its not the heat....be well and safe. Good to see you enjoyed the food.
I like this style of vlog it gives me inspiration for my content thank you 🙏🏼
G that steamed fish looks very tasty 😋
You can't beat that price considering fresh.
great, this made me hungry in the middle of the night 😅👌🏻
Good to see you both and eating healthy! Good to see Em’s rare appearance. Hahah. was watching 🇦🇺 Luke Damont 🇦🇺and all he ate at ugbo (Tondo) was cheesy egg sandwich, Korean waffle dog, and halo-halo. lol.
My hood mate Cubao 👏
Gadday mate, nice vlog, seems your youtube channel is growing, keep it up...😎
Try chopsuey in mangantila cafe in baras rizal. its also delicious 😋
For $13.00 that's only a price of the whole fish here in the U.S. or 2 lbs of shrimp for frozen shrimp. That's still cheap for the whole thing. For all seafood meal in the U.S. that would be at least $70.00 or more.
watching it right now.. yummy.😋😁... take care guys.. watching you from CA...

Hello 😊
I missed the wet market and the vegetables market in the Philippines even though only my husband mostly go to the market. They have Lots of fresh fishes and fresh vegetables.
I think this Dampa, the fresh food that you buy in the wet market and the fees for cooking them is far cheaper than the prices at the Seaside Dampa at Macapagal Blvd (Near MOA).
❤️❤️❤️ Marshall❤️💪🏻🇵🇭 Keep safe
Hello there! 🤙 WOW, mouth watering, looks delicious, thanks for sharing your video. Stay safe and stay healthy Mate! 💖😊🤙♥️☮️🏝🌈

The fish, the fish!!
Wasn't familiar with Dampa but I like the concept and will give that a try next time I'm in the P.I. Thanks for the video ! You two stay safe :)
That looked delicious, can't beat whole steamed fish Chinese style. I think it's steamed with soy sauce then drizzled with searing hot sesame oil. One eye ball fish reminded me of the Benny Hill joke - that's either a one eyed cat coming towards us or one walking away 😂

😲 wow i always wanted to try that dampa paluto. I 🤔 think you shouldn't get the people greeting you at the entrance and make your decision after you've canvass all the dampa stalls. 💕 Love the video idol
Crab sweet chili try next time
Not cheap but it looks tasty 😋
Try going to SM Megamall Lower Ground of Building B and look for Masuki Chinese restaurant and eat thei Special Asado Siopao, Beef Mami, and Siomai Soup. Be sure to pour the siopao sauce into the mami soup. It's the closest place to you similar to Ma Mon Luk.

Yes, I saw that.
Hi Marshall . Such a lovely lunch you both had. BTW can't help but smile with your sweet gestures for Ems. Cheers from UK.
The seafood section of that market was well stocked and clean, with good running water. I wonder where in Cubao they source all their fish? The dishes all looked great--it seems that the snapper was made escabeche style, my fav.:) Good deal overall I think!

I imagine they get their fish from Navotas Fish Port. I'm not sure how our fish was cooked but I think you are right.

The fish was cooked Chinese style Steamed fish. Usually, they fry the whole fish to get some texture on the skin then they steam the whole fish to cook the inside. They add onion leaks, garlic, ginger and soy sauce. Once cooked, they plate the fish with soy sauce and aromatics. They heat up really hot oil in a pan then pour it over the fish and serve. If it's expensive, trust they used sesame oil. If it's cheap, that mightve been just regular oil.
Haha.. you should eat the membrane around the eyeball, not just the white eyeball itself! Emma didn’t give you the whole eye of the fish!
it seems pretty expensive, but its an occassional specialty meal, you wont eat like that everyday.. weve eaten in dampa nearer to ortigas a few years back there were 8-7 of us our patron paid bet 4 to 5 k...
😋😋😋👍
Not bad P1,700+ for all of the seafoods you ate. That’s fresh and delicious specially the steamed red snapper that’s super yummy 😋. Me and my husband tried before at the SM Seaside, we ordered only Shrimps sinigang, Calamaris and same your Steamed baby Red snapper (baby bcoz it’s really small). We paid more than 3K Pesos. 🤔
"Paluto" means something like "To make others cook it for you"

Or, maybe, cooking service?
are you two going out together now?
👍✅🙀✅👍
thats bit expensive.
The chopsuey cooking charge is expensive. I think it should only be around 500 cooking charge
The chopsuey cooking fee is already an order of chopsuey elsewhere.

Agree, the chopsuey was a rip off.
I'm curious, as I've never had a paluto at a dampa, for those of you who do this often, is it common to have the cooking fee cost more than the ingredients? I mean, it of course depends on what you buy and how you have these cooked but in your experience, is this the usual case?
@nilobeebee

If you only have little ingredients for example 1/4 kilo of shrimps but you maximize the cooking fee if your ingredients is at least 1 kilo
@oxoelfoxo

@@nilobeebee makes sense. most cost effective way is to shop for a big group if the cooking fees are standard.

@@oxoelfoxo But yeah, the Dampa dining experience has deteriorated so bad and are nothing but overpriced tourist and balkbayan traps. Though the prices are good at Farmers Market compared to the ones in Macapagal. You have to read the reviews first before walking into the ones with the most aggressive greeter.

Also, some dampa eateries have actual short orders for chopsuey. First time I've seen somebody brought vegetables for a Dampa paluto.
Wow congrats. Your gf is pretty😄

Expensive for the paluto. Will never cater to that area
Baclaran dampa is much better.
Hello. Please visit the Freedom Memorial Museum in UP Diliman on Sept 23, 2022 (If, it is open or will be ever open on that day.) You do not need to make a video about it so you do not loose subscriptions from filipino man keys who love marcos. 😃
it is edible.... for Filipinos..😂... if you stay longer in the Philippines you'll be eating it too..😀
If you can cook then do it your self than they charge you more than the price of the raw food you bought...😵
DONT GO TO DAMPA COZ THEY ARE OVERCHARGING THE CUSTOMER.GO TO GOOD RESTAURANT CHEAPER BY ATLEAST 50%0
I learned this from my wife. If the eyes of the fish is clouded, the fish is bad. He is telling Emma that the shrimp is not much for tempura, I think. But seems like it is enough. Do you have to know what kind of cooking other than the ones on the menu? How was their cooking? Fish looks bony, watch out. I thought fish eyeballs are hard. Never liked it. Seems expensive meal for the 2 of you.

yes, it wasn't cheap.
Expensive. Not worth it.
The stall employee handles the fish, takes the money, makes change and then goes on to assist the next customer and handles fish. Not at all hygienic.

@@solkalibri1376 no, it did not kill them, they may not have gotten sick but handling money while preparing food causes cross contamination, introduction of pathogens, and transmission of diseases. As currency typically has more germs than can be found on a toilet seat, this puts the customer at risk for many illnesses, gastroenteritis for starters. No thanks, not for me. When I see a food handler behaving like that, I turn around and walk away. Can’t take the risk of being sprawled out on the hotel bathroom floor for a few days. The government there appears to be very keen on enforcing a mask mandate which we know now is totally useless but does not seem interested in any minimum standards for safe food handling in markets or eating establishments.
