I was rocking with Damon Wayans in whatever he did.. Stand-up, Blankman and In Living Color but My Wife and Kids had one of the last good fathers on the tv screen. Highly underrated show. Salute to him and his work.

I will never forget back in the 80’s Eddie Murphy was on Arsenio Hall and he said he’d just seen Damon perform in a comedy club. He went on to say how afraid of him he was because of how funny Damon’s performance was. Eddie was at the top of his game back then and saw Damon as a problem! This man is hilarious and super relatable; my favorite comedian of all time!

Speaking of mental health... MY WIFE AND KIDS show helped my sanity during my court hearings lol. I watched that show back to back. And I ended up NOT going to prison. I even watch that show in today's time, and it's so much joy.

I use to have a favorite, then it switched to another Wayans, then another, etc. Looking back I realized there just isn't a favorite because they're all special each in their own way.. so it's impossible to choose.
He has the most memorable characters. Damon is a gem.
In living color still funny af to this day. The wayans comedy royalty. Not everything they did was a hit but I always respected the fact that they were bold and tried new things every time. Damon a legend and glad he and his fam still around especially in a time where we’ve lost so many greats the last few years
I've been his fan since I was a little kid, and I believe he's just been getting better and better as he gets older! To me, these older comedians I grew up with, just get funnier the more seasoned they are.

I remember one of his specials from back in the day was so hilarious. The one where he spoke about the pimp silky pitching him ideas for a movie. Definitely a classic in my eyes and one of the best standup specials I ever watched.

The wayans are the family that set the tone for comedy. Damon, Keynan put so many people on and the stuff we see today is because what they did back in the day. You have to mention them when you speak about comedy.

He has always been, in my opinion, been the funniest of all of his family members. I have enjoyed him in each and every project that he has been involved in.
Damon Wayans Jr's best work is the show "Happy Endings". It only had 3 seasons, but it was very funny. Junior really showcased high-level comedic acting and skill. I think he's (by-far) the best comedic actor of the Wayans👍

(1) He said ‘The Closer’ was a masterpiece (2) He said HE is the most proficient comic of his time and it will be a decade before they get a talent like HIM again on stage - in a speech about PERFORMANCE at a PERFORMANCE SCHOOL highlighting what that building and school did for him. CONTEXT matters, and is important when it seems pretty clear that Rosenberg has a blatant narrative he is attempting to push on what comics can and can’t say. DL Hughley CHECKED him on it when he tried him and now he’s comin sideways tryna get Damon to pour spice on Dave Chappelle’s legacy. It’s weird, but consistent enough for the audience to notice. You CURATE art, fam. You don’t get to try and influence the lines folk can paint in. Play ya role.

Wayans family is "Legendary" Damon is a legend alive. That super bowl story is CRAZY. Makes there genius more solidified.
I enjoyed this interview. Extremely powerful. Damon is still the man (and still handsome too)! In Living Color was absolutely the BEST and brings back so many wonderful memories. The talent they had was off the chain. The entire Wayans family is talented. I introduced my son to watch it along with My Wife and Kids, Martin, A Different World, Fresh Prince of BelAir, etc.
