I’m glad Tony mentioned how no one comforted Chris after the incident. I really felt for Chris in that moment… It’s like getting ran over by a drunk driver, tire marks on your face and all, but everyone runs to check on the driver who barely has a scratch. Smh… Standing there alone probably hurt worse than the slap. 😢🤦🏾‍♀️ Prayers and best wishes to Chris and the whole Rock family. 🙏🏽 🥰

No one comforted him because he was a d*ck. Believe me everyone (black actors) probably knew what was going on. Let's start with the fact that folks who are usually joked about on the Oscar stage are Oscar nominees not the spouses of nominees or random guests. Let's start there. So it was definitely not called for outside of his vendetta with Jada. Let's also add that the jokes are scripted and the show is rehearsed. It has been said, he was asked not to do whatever joke he originally had about Jada. So it seems he swapped it out and decided to do something HE THOUGHT would be less inflammatory. The Academy and Will Packer claimed the joke he ended up telling was not scripted. However everyone else who told jokes that night talked about how they ran it by the individuals they were joking about before hand. Amy even scrapped a joke because after testing it, they felt it to be insensitive. No one else went off-script, especially not to clown a non-Oscar nominee. Chris claimed he didn't know about Jada's alopecia.... well that's why he should have STUCK TO THE SCRIPT. He looked stupid to those in the room, since they probably knew the back story. That's why no one comforted him.

I love Tony Rock. He's upfront and honest, obviously loves his family and will protect them no matter what. Family loyalty and protection is everything. My family isn't like that (especially since my parents are dead.) My family automatically sides with my opposition without knowing the facts, without knowing who they are, their names and what they look like. In the past, they have actually gone out of their way to let my opposition know they have their full support, and will back them up over me - their own brother/uncle.

I saw the pain in his eyes and the light leave as he spoke about nobody comforting his brother. I have siblings and it would have went different but I know Im on a diffetent level than them. I feel you Tony. ❤️
