Damon Stringer Was The First Lebron James! What if? Stunted Growth

Спорт

Lebron James has became the standard for players advanced at a young age that go on to dominate ammeter competition, having great expectations of them to succeed on the next level and hopefully become great professional athletes as well. When you talk about the best case scenario for a high school basketball star, it doesn’t get better than Lebron’s story and how he not only lived up to the expectations, but far surpassed them, and on his way to becoming one of the greatest African American achievers of all time. That’s the standard, and as far as any player surpassing what he was able to do I don’t think that ever happens again. But it doesn’t mean there weren’t players before Lebron’s hype began that carried that same energy about and for them in their community locally and even nationwide. Today’s feature is one of them. Damon Stringer coming up according to the Cleveland plain Dealer was a hero to many young kids and basketball fans in Cleveland. He was the city’s golden child with the bright future ahead of him before anyone ever heard of Lebron James down in Akron. But from there, life changed... Damon Stringer Was The First Lebron James! What if? Stunted Growth

He's a damn basketball player. He contributes nothing to society. Don't even bring up his school which is taxpayer funded. You need better leaders like Thomas Sowell or Walter Williams. But I bet you have no idea who 2 of the smartest human beings to exist are.

weird.. Such low standards you people have. No wonder blacks never make it to top 100 billionaire list. Check out how many asian and latinos is there.. When will you people learn that money talks and those top 100 run the world. The likes of le bron, jokic ,tyson or fury is just a stupid entertainer that will be chew out and replace after their career end. Nobody care about what they say. Look at how pwople are disrespecting MJ rn. They laugh when that clown think he can sit at the big boys table just because he own a franchise and they are right to laugh at the entertainer who forgets his place

Nah he had hype but still nothing like LeBron or Mayo or even Estabon Weaver... Stringer was terrible at Ohio State. He led the team his freshman year in scoring with a whopping 11.3ppg just edging out freshman teammate Jermaine Tate at 11.0ppg. hahaha. They just weren't very good... 10 win season where Shaun Stonerook, Tate and Stringer were their best players as true freshman. Same thing sophomore season... 10 wins led by sophomores Stonerook, Tate, Stringer and Jason Singleton. He was undersized and not real athletic. Stonerook and Tate both left after that season as well. Those were some really down years in Columbus. That next season a legit superstar freshman with crazy hype showed up in Michael Redd.. they were still terrible but he gave you 22/6/3 as a true freshman in the Big10. The next two seasons with Redd and Sconnie Penn they were legit contenders. That would be a good video... Scoonie Penn... or even Redd but Penn is kinda unknown and was a killer. Stringer was always just meh
