ive been a dj for 28 years mainly playing psy, techno, underground prog and electro. always on the darker side.....this man along with caberet nocturne made me shift style and have been so influential to me, the last time i was that influenced was sasha and digweed northern exposure 1 or the bible as i know it.....absolutely mint

@@garymiller1910 I’m not saying he screws up. I’m saying he mixes tracks in the same way every time. As a producer he is one of my favorites, and unlike most people, I purchase his tracks, so I support him. I don’t rip shit offline and bootleg music. It was constructive criticism.

@@dylanjames3686 your point makes no sense bro. He did a good job on the set. Tracks were properly selected and played in a progressive way, the rythm is accurate, sound is so good, volume and EQ well controlled. It's true that there's few details on the mixes, but I really don't care about that. Djs are humans not robots. I' mfollowing the electronic scene for aorund 20 years, I always take it serious. I saw several times how top line djs made mistakes on mixes. While those mistakes doesn't break the energy and the rythm, I don't see why consider the set not good. And the thing that he's not mixnig on vinyl, it's bullshit. Of course only vinyl sets have a different feeling, but digital arrived long time ago, I can't just disqualify a dj's job because he's not playing vinyls.

It shows in your less than tactful and childish attempt to belittle someone whom could and would spin circles around your amatuerism with ease.... thanks for the laugh!

@@dan9977 it doesn't matter how long you have been in the business. I play this kind of music regularly and his way of mixing is quite common since the genre is not that established like other styles (tech house, techno, etc.) so there are big differences in the low ends of the tracks and overall mixing/mastering, so you can't do your regular blend mix so much and you have to use filter while mixing. Also, no one in the audience cares or understands that much, the important thing is that it works and people are having a good time.

@@Elmirgtr my original comment stated a fact, the mixes are sloppy and regardless of genre, a beat is a beat and a DJ should match the beats. If your hearing is not properly trained to mix vinyl, it's evident that you can't mix and the mixes are sloppy. Other than that your comment about a "bedroom DJ" was a failed attempt to belittle someone with tons more experience than you and as a result, the egg remains on your face.
