I swear-a lot of fans misunderstood Damian, notably based on moments he's had from the Injustice storyline. The story was a mess in of itself. In my opinion, the writers did Damian dirty just as they did for Dick Grayson's death. Heck! A lot of writers just don't get Damian right. He's arrogant, yes. Presumptive, impulsive, abrasive, and a know-it-all. He has every right to be the way he was considering his dark history with the Al Ghuls that led him to the character we're presented with. Underneath that arrogance, is a need to prove himself and desire the affection of his loved ones-he fought everyone for approval, of Talia, Bruce, and especially Ra's. But overtime, he's more compassionate, empathetic, and develops a heart, whose proved, time after time again, he has redeemed himself. Even if he had a unique way of showing it. Comics showed this. Movies showed it. And it makes me deeply sad, when I hear fans and writers see/do less for his growth.
