Marley is too real and straight to the point, that's why the conversation was short. You can't play or joke with him!

Weed makes you be like that. If you are a heavy weed smoker for a while you tend to be short with convos but honest. Even when you know people wont like what you say you still say it without hesitation.

When he was scheduled to perform at a peace rally, a gunman came to his house and shot him down. Two days later he walked out on that stage and sang. When they asked him why - He said, "The people, who were trying to make this world worse... are not taking a day off. How can I? Light up the darkness."

There were actually two gunmen, and the reason (although it was denied) was for Bob Marley's refusal to use his popularity to endorse a political party in Jamaica. I'm glad to say that the gunmen never made it out of Trench town - the coroners collected their corpses on that same street!

It's more dangerous for Black people you are more likely to be held at gun point than a White person because often they can get away with robbing Black people because Whites are viewed as rich tourists and the punishment for robbing them is much more harsh.

Shame on the Breakfast club for not knowing the album was already out and not even taking time out to listen to his album before the interview...being fake interested and asking basic ,dry and uninteresting questions wont cut it...with connection to Bob Marley, Nas,Jay and so many more...with REAL interest and research, y'all could have had at least 2 hours worth of content from interviewing D.Marley...just saying.
