Stunning. Kiri Te Kanawa was my beloved mother's favourite opera singer. And it's clear why that was so.

She is wonderful.

This has always been my favorite Christmas song. Claire Rutter has also performed this on her album. It was also sung by the Les Miserables New York Cast on the CD and video entitled A Christmas Celebration of Seasonal Songs. They sell the sheet music at sheetmusicplus site.

when attending her concert at the Seattle Opera with my wife, Desiree and my mother who hosted, during the intermission we went to the lobby and enjoyed a glass of champagne (Desiree) the concert-goers there came up to my mother and Desiree and countless inquiries were made regarding and questioning Desiree if she was Dame Kiri Te Kanawa's twin sister.....the resemblance was incredible and effectively Desiree may have been the 'doppelganger' of Dame Kirk Te Kanawa....... Viewing Te Kanawa's video music performances I can literally go back in time and look at effectively my wife, Desiree who passed 4-months pregnant with our child. She died as a result of oftentimes erratic and sometimes 'higher blood pressure' ergo this condition led to her massive heart attack........

I just can't wait to share these christmas carols with you! Sung by Dame Kiri, always so beautiful.....though a little bit too early...... Dame-Kiri-Lover

No, but it was featured on a CD Save The Children and all the Christmas Carols were performed by Broadway/West End casts.
