Beans said Dame was mismanaging tour money. Bleek said he tried to warn Dame on the plane that people wasn’t messing with him. Dame had a lawsuit between him and Curren$y for trying to screw him out of bread. We got footage of Dame running around an office screaming at the top of his lungs about how Jay was “his” artist, when they were partners. Dame admits he made Cam the president of Roc a Fella, without having any prior meeting with Jay. There are countless stories about Dame not being a good person to work with. It’s weird we still blame Jay when it’s a ton of other evidence to suggest Dame was the problem.

The last 20 years has been nothing but sour grapes from Dame. Jay is quoted as saying that he would have walked away from the game if Dame/Biggs would have just let him have the masters to Reasonable Doubt. They said no, so Jay proceeded to accept the Def Jam President job with LA Reid (retaining all of his master recordings) and turned down Lyor Cohen's President job offer at Atlantic records. Post Roc break up, Dame was bragging how LA Reid was smart enough to keep him on staff by brokering the Dame Dash Music Group deal but without a flagship artist of Jay's caliber, Dame was now toothless and the label failed. In a nutshell, Dame underestimated Jay-Z's business acumen and it still eats at him.

Lies 1. How could Dame/Biggs give Jay RD if Def Jam owned the 50% of Roc a Fela (wasn’t theirs to give) 2. He didn’t retain the masters because he became President, he negotiated them in exchange that he help Def Jam buy the rest of Roc a Fela under the premise (to Dame and Biggs) that he was retiring. RocWear as well 3. Jay didn’t go to Atlantic because he couldn’t be associated to Lyor who was being investigated for “torturous interference” of the artists he was handling, Jay taking a job there would have made it that much more obvious that he was. 4. LA was nice enough to do a distribution deal with Dame which unfortunately did not work out but that was because of multiple sabotage tactics that Jay used to make sure the label didnt grow any more legs. Your sentiment on Dame may be sound, but Dame always admitted he was hurt by what Jay did (so that’s stating the obvious). The rest of your information is just off

@@thearrogantpupil1770 Exactly. Whenever jayz is asked about Dame in interviews he intentionally avoids slandering Dame, check the breakfast club interview or the old MTV interview he did with Sway shortly after their breakup back in 2003. He still thanked Dame during his Hall of Fame speech last year too I think it was. The only bad thing I've heard jay publicly say about Dame in interviews is that he felt that things weren't done the right way in business, and they had two completely different ways of going about things. Then I started to connect the dots. During the peak of Roc-a-fella, Dame was notoriously known for being reckless with the company money and spending it lavishly on stupid things that were not business related. Dame was also notoriously known for yelling and cursing at his own employees in the office, basically humiliating them in front of other people. But what's interesting is, nobody ever questions Dame's character, it's always just jayz.

Quite a few of his former artists are in Jay’s label. And I have not heard of one Black record or entertainment exec ever support or side with Dame. That tells a lot about who this man is and has been. Right now Dame Dash net worth is $100,000. My understanding is that the reason why media people never ask Jay about Dame is because he always makes it clear to them before the interview that if Dame’s name is mentioned anytime during the interview he will abruptly end it. He has used social issues to gain equity in several projects under the guise of ‘change’. The Brooklyn Nets and the NFL are the two most high profile examples of this. At the end of those deals the only person who ended up being empowered or enriched was Jay-Z himself. We call it the bait and switch!

I think Dame resents what Jay Z has become. Dame would love to be as wealthy and live the lifestyle Jay is living now. He believes he deserves that A list billionaire life style like Jay. Make no mistake, there is definitely an element of jealousy. Dame was also allegedly spending company money on himself and making big decisions without consulting Jay Z. Since they stopped working together, Dame hasn't done anything of note

Exactly! Dame was a liability if you really think about it. The undertones whenever he speaks about Jay is steeped in pure jealousy and envy. What bothers me most about Dame is he takes absolutely zero blame in what transpired here. Jay knew staying connected to Dame was like having that chick with good pussy you enjoyed smashing, but you always knew she wasn't wifey material. When it was time to settle down and build, you had to let that shit go. Dame had good traits and attributes, but his bad traits outweighed the good. They all made millions together, so if Jay really needed Dame, instead of the other way around, Dame would have the financial success and more importantly the respect in business circles that Jay has. It's not just about the money, Dame is a straight arrogant asshole that NOBODY wants to do business with. That's on Dame.

This is a big fact. If Dame was doing well, he would decline these interviews. It's when people have nothing going on is when they decide to talk about they past. Notice you will never Jayz or Drake rarely doing interviews. And when they do, it's on their terms and they rarely talk bad about people they did buisiness with in the past.

They tried to get signed in the beginning, funny how he looks down on people who tried to get signed now. He basically mad that he played himself into a corner and overvalued his leverage and what he brought to the table. It’s like me working underneath my uncle in the lawn care business and then I take over the lawn care industry, now my uncle wanna throw shade and talk this humble shet, u wasn’t talking that humble shet when I was pushing the lawn mower or weed eating millions of acres combined and getting pennies on thousands of dollars 😂. When u was getting that $$$$$$$$$$ on Jay’s back it was all good just a week ago. Now it’s preach and being humble while Jay making billions and being humble in the music business.
