I'm from old Damascus, the eastern part of the city was built by the ancient Greeks and there are many Roman and Greek ruins inside the city. One of 7 city- doors still called "Paradis Door" in our dialect and it was overlooking the most beautiful Fields and rivers outside the city
Now am in middle of old Damascus and I listen to this.. legendary ❤

The city of jasmine, the oldest capital across the globe, the oldest continuously inhabited city worldwide, from which Christianity has exponentially spread to the whole world; with the baptism of St. Paul. Mentioned in the bible (around 60 times) and in Quran under Ash-Sham. Witnessed numerous empires and rulers (Greeks, Persians, Romans, Caliphates, Turkish, and recently French). No wonder the city and region experience constant raids and wars with such rich history, resources and strategic geographical position.

While palm trees aren't prevalent, it's renowned for its jasmine, lemon, and olive trees. Here's to wishing peace for Damascus and the entire world!

This would go so well on a Prince of Persia Remake. The starting part would go so well on Two Throne where the prince rushing to Kaleena on the hype of the music and as the Vizier stab her to unleash the sand of time, the sad melody would match the lost of the prince of losing his lover forever. This has the vibe of Two Throne, The rush, The impact entwine with sadness and the responsibility to save the world while battling the dark prince vengeful control. The subtle notes every now and then feels like the Princess Fatimah, bringing a glimpse of hope, love and inspiration to the prince before the next fight. 😌
