You cannot go wrong moving to either Houston or Dallas. The reason why Dallas wins is simple, it is the nicer cities that part of the Dallas metro area. Dallas has better public transportation and DFW has way safer, richer, newer, better looking suburbs or cities around it. When you move to Dallas you don't just get Dallas. You get Fort Worth, Arlington, Plano, Frisco, Irving, Garland, Addison, Richardson, Grapevine, Westlake, Southlake, University Park, Highland Park, McKinney, etc. A lot more gorgeous cities are part of the DFW metro and that is where Dallas wins big time.

That is one comparison, I hate Houston VS Dallas. I love both cities. Houston is gorgeous and Dallas can be even more gorgeous. Houston is the big brother, and it is older. Dallas is newer and modern, gorgeous. Houston has the beach etc. Dallas has these gorgeous lakes. Houston has huge highways and Dallas has even more modern hwys, but you do not want to experience the traffic in Houston, near Galveston. It is horrible. Dallas wins because it is a tad bit cleaner, more bourgie more prime steakhouses in Dallas, has better cities/suburbs than Houston.

@@kingb7038 Thank you so much. I love Houston too, the way I see it, If I were not in Dallas, I would probably want to be in Houston. Both places are great! I just like the fact that Dallas has Fort Worth, Plano, Arlington, Irving, Frisco, Addison, Richardson, Coppell, Carrollton, Grapevine, Garland. All these cities are great by themselves. Many of them are big High Tech, big business Hubs.

Dallas is a better city for raising a family and looks better. The only thing I don’t like is that it isn’t culturally blended like Houston.

Thanks for watching! And I’ve heard that from a few Dallas folk before. I can only speak for houston as I’m currently living here and raising a family here is great so far.

I’m not from Texas, but live in Dallas. My wife is from Houston and we actual own properties in both. I would say you did a pretty decent breakdown, but these two metro’s to me are more similar than different. If o e wins in something, it’s only slightly. I would point out that Houston is more much more humid although temps are slightly lower on average. Also it’s true that Houston is the larger city, but the square miles of the city is like 800. Dallas is less than half that. Most of Dallas population is outside the city limits. This is why metro population is a better go by for large cities and not city limits. With that said, Dallas is the larger metro with Ft worth sitting right next to it. Yes they are separate cities, but is all grown together. It’s not like your going to drive 30 minutes to through the country to get there.

I like Dallas. I never been to Houston. I only visited Austin,Dallas, San Marcos and San Antonio. I would worry about the hurricanes being in Houston. Dallas can get tornadoes as well.

Everybody knows that Houston is a top 5 US city overall. Don’t really think Dallas is able to squeeze in there. Might have a better chance in top 15, though… Maybe like 11? That sounds about right… *Houston on the verge of surpassing Chicago as #3 right behind LA meanwhile Dallas is somewhere in the neighborhood of #11 or #12* … yikes, sounds very correct. And mostly factual on Houston’s part 😌🤷🏼‍♂️🌇🏙️🌃🚀 Most iconic US cities: 1. New York City 2. Los Angeles 3. Chicago 4. HOUSTON 5. Miami Honorable mentions: Las Vegas, D.C., Atlanta, San Francisco, Boston, Seattle, Phoenix, Philadelphia, Denver Oh btw space exploration? Houston says you’re welcome to the rest of the country for that 🥰
