I thought Morgan Fairchild was the best Jenna. Francine Tacker was a good actress, but too plain looking. Priscilla Presley had the looks, but wasn't a very versatile actress. Where as Morgan Fairchild had both looks and acting chops.

This was a cop-out to what could have been a very interesting storyline at a time when the show desperately needed one: Bobby vs. Ray. What if Jenna had stayed angry at Bobby and refused to let him see the baby? What would Ray do if Bobby insisted and/or sued for custody or visitation rights? How might JR have tried to use the situation to his advantage? Instead, the writers took the easy, less-dramatic route and had everybody kiss and make up. Too bad.

I can understand why Bobby was everyone's favorite...

Lord have mercy, that is AWFULLY strange that Bobby, and Ray would have been with each other's first loves. Ray with Pam, Bobby with Jenna. Then Bobby was with Pam too. How incredibly awkward that must be, and now you are going to marry the guy's first love? How crazy is that. But Ray was a big time player back in the day. He hooked up with Pam, Jenna, Lucy, Donna, and Sue Ellen. That's pretty much all the Ewing women.

I don't think Pam was Ray's first love. Ray was already 30+ when he was with Pam and it wasn't that serious. It's just that Ray was with Pam before Bobby.

Jenna was only settling with Ray because she couldn't have Bobby because he wanted Pam. Deep down she was holding on to one last sliver of hope that her engagement to Ray would make him realize that she was the one he really wanted. That didn't happen and it was the point she painfully knew that her childhood dreams of marrying Bobby were truly over.

I'm with you there. I believed that the marriage was more for convenience since she really had no financial stability. Ray had the bucks and could support Jenna.

It kinda seems like Bobby is trying to makeup for taking Pam from Ray by letting him be with Jenna

Weird and awkward. Bobby's half brother is supposed to raise Bobby's biological son he had with Jenna, and later take Jenna and move to Switzerland for fuck's sake. The real Bobby would never in a million years agree to such an arrangement.

By the fall of 1987 the storylines and scripts became really terrible. By 1989 - 1990 season came along Bobby and JR stopped talking or being part of Miss Ellie's life.

The Dallas reboot never showed or mentioned Lucas or JR's other children. JR had two other kids: James and a child that he had with Cally. They would've should up at JR's funeral looking for their inheritance.

@@deb310red the reboot does not mention Lucas, nor the other children of Jr. Ray always comes alone at the weddings or the funeral of Jr. This fact was justified once by Ray who affirms that Jenna is very well in Switzerland in their new home and does not wish to come back to the States. Ray looked very happy when he said that so we can assume that everything is fine with the couple. We can also assume that Lucas considers Ray his real father, though, he probably knows about Bobby, besides, Bobby doesn't seem really interested in Lucas either because he only cares about his son Christopher. Regarding Jr.'s other children: Jamie had left Dallas to live with Debra-Lynn and their own child. He didn't seem too interested in Jr anymore after seeing all the shenanigans he was doing. Finally, Cally's child is a very special case: Cally had not confessed to Jr. his paternity before making believe that her pregnancy was the result of her affair with Jamie. Next, Cally got Jr.'s divorce in her favor when Jr. needed someone to help him out of the insane asylum he had voluntarily entered to carry out one of his schemes. Before signing the papers to release Jr from the asylum, Cally made him promise not to look for her, which Jr had done until Jamie revealed the identity of the baby's father to him. Jr had then gone looking for Cally and he had found her, nevertheless he did not show himself to her and gave up on the child when Jr saw that Cally seemed happy with the baby and a new one. man in his life. It is for this reason that Cally's child is probably not in Jr. At the end of the reboot, we see that John Ross junior learned through a message from his father the existence of a sister but Jr had not mentioned it in the will either.

No it's the right flashback long as PP got to be the most memorable Jenna coming back on the show for a regular to reignite with Bobby while the previous actresses were simply playing guest roles early on.

Il y a des jeux de mots ou des expressions qui ne sont pas les même en français donc je traduis surtout le sens et pas au mot à mot. - Ray: Eh Bobby, heureux que tu aies pu venir, tu veux une bière ? - Bobby: Non merci. Alors qu'est-ce que tu as en tête ? - Ray: eh bien au-delà du fait que tu es mon frère, tu es aussi mon meilleur ami donc tu sais que tu peux tout me dire ? Je sais que tu as dit que tu étais content pour nous devant toute la famille l'autre jour mais j'aimerais savoir comment tu te sens vraiment. Est-ce que le fait que j'épouse Jenna te pose problème ? - Bobby: Ray laisse moi te dire une chose: quand Jenna et moi étions enfants et que nous projetions de nous marier, j'étais vraiment très heureux et amoureux d'elle. Tu sais que le premier amour est toujours quelque chose de spécial mais depuis que j'ai rencontré Pam, il n'y a eu qu'un seul amour dans ma vie et c'est Pam. Je ne sais pas si elle a quitté Ray tout de suite ou non mais toujours est-il qu'elle l'a laissé pour Bobby et elle ne lui avait probablement pas dit la vérité au sujet du motif de leur rupture car la famille Ewing, voire, Ray sont surpris de la voir débarquer en tant que Mrs Ewing. D'ailleurs, Jr a tenté de semer la zizanie entre Pamela et Bobby en persuadant Ray de séduire Pam (dans l'extrait, il la jette dans l'eau pour qu'elle le suive dans sa cabane et ôte ses vêtements trempés mais Ray ne va pas jusqu'au bout car il comprend que Pam aime vraiment Bobby donc il dit la vérité au sujet du fait qu'ils sont tombés dans l'eau et non en train de faire autre chose quand Jr entraine Bobby à la cabane dans l'espoir de les surprendre en pleine liaison.) Je suppose qu'on voit ici Ray plus honnête car il parle franchement à Bobby. Bon ensuite, je n'aurais pas choisi Bobby comme témoin en de telles circonstances mais c'est le choix des scénaristes et un retour de bâton pour Bobby qui voit son ex se marier avec Ray...

Bobby was never involved in Lucas' life and it seemed as if he was raised to believe Ray was his father. So the kid grew up believing a lie and probably that was how it was on the TNT series since he was never mentioned.

The storyline was absolutely ridiculous Bobby with Jennifer's and then Ray ends up marrying Eric absolutely ridiculous although I love Dallas
