If we’re being honest he didn’t kill anyone….I mean Jalen Carter was drafted in the 1st round AFTER they knew he did something extremely similar to this. He made a dumb decision but he should be able to still play if guys like Jalen are in the league

any lawer will tell you if you get in a accident while drunk you need to leave the area. charge for leaving is far less than DUI during a accident. leaving the accident is a class c misdemeanor with a $500 fine in KC.

I’ve seen this floating around too. I’m on the side of he must’ve been drunk which explains why he fled cause there’s no other reason to leave tbh. I think him leaving the scene is what’s gonna save his career ultimately

@@garywright8457 I used to live in Waco Texas my dad got arrested for being on his meds while driving and got slapped with a crazy fine. Rice would definitely get jail time if it’s found out he was drunk. He still might be getting jail time regardless

In Texas if you flee the scene you can get one to five years if someone has minor injuries!

They actually posted a video of his group leaving the scene. He was coming from the passenger side so Imma guess it’ll come out eventually that he might not have even been driving. Still don’t know why he would flea tho

I ain’t risking 80 million for doin nothin other than riding shotgun.” If it’s a rental vehicle, maybe there’s some sort of clause in the agreement that he’s the only one that can drive it. Either way, makes no sense to run.

Give the benefit of the doubt. His car may have been loaned out. Don't assume let the cops figure it out. Not excusing what happened, he needs to be told about Kareem Hunt issues, wake him up now.

In my opinion he didn’t kill anybody so this is all redeemable. I hope he plays his cards right from here on out. And even if he doesn’t I think he’ll still play in the league next year at some point. Better be smart tho

Gonna have to draft a WR in the first round now. Gonna have to sign OBJ maybe and then they have Hollywood still. Plus there’s a chance he still plays next year this isn’t that terrible of a circumstance compared some other players who are STILL in the league (Tyreek, Mixon, Watson, Kamara)

@@Gmanski3 Negative, they don't have to. WR class might be the deepest position this year. Not only that, but they must replace Sneed, which there's less of in this draft. All that being said, I could see them drafting OL as well.

Chiefs drafting multiple WRs this year

he most likely will not be facing jail time as he and his friend he was racing (THEY WERE RACING) if they find him he most likely will be charged with public endangerment if he was drunk and a street racing fine maybe some others since this was in Dallas and not Kansas/Missouri currently there is no evidence he was or is drunk he may not have been drunk and just made a stupid decision at a young age I have and if your reading this you also have and it doesn’t matter how old you are I don’t think he is gonna face jail time or suspension from playing and it wasn’t a fatal crash the person sent to the hospital had minor injuries and was the person he was racing the public is taking this way to far because if it was another person they wouldn’t care that much and the other person he was racing should also be charged so let this ago and enjoy your Easter it’s all gonna turn out fine All THINGS SAID IN THIS STATEMENT IS A PERSONAL OPINION AND NOTHING SAID IN THE STATEMENT IS OFFICIAL BY ANY COURT OF LAW POLICE OFFICERS OR ANYTHING IT IS A THOUGHT
