7 Times an NFL Team FAILED Their First Round QB

Спорт

With the conclusion of the 2024 NFL Draft, for this video, we will be going over 7 times since the 2010s where an NFL team failed their first round QB! In no particular order but they all are all deserving of making an appearance on this list. Some of these QBs were complete BUSTS and others turned out well...you'll see.

@@Dougie1969 Americans refuse to question their Authority Figures. When Bellichick reprimanded Jones *for seeking help outside of Matt Patricia,* he was basically telling Jones "your problems mean nothing to me" & was too stupid to realize that _WAS_ the problem. He was ignoring the issues already. Jones just got worse. However the fan reactions were telling too. Bill also said "Jones is our QB of the future." This made things worse for Jones because despite this seemingly positive statement, it was also a closing of the discussion. Which made things worse. But comments in sections like this by fans were "Jones is the Patriots Future" which had the air of "The Hoodie Hath Spoken." I found that hilarious. Zappe had been _WAY_ better with the same roster up 'til that point & fans who mindlessly accept everything from their authority figures just forgot all that. Even now people think Zappe sucks. I dunno. Could _Brady_ have done any better on that team? It's amazing what people forget, including that receivers unable to gain separation was why he left in the first place.

Luck often would play when he shouldn't have because he didn't want to let down his team. Grigson fired after he started taking shots (but drafted a first round center his last draft.) The new GM ballard immediately set forth drafting multiple lineman in his first draft. Luck had a great line after the season he went out. He just did not want to rehab anymore despite having all the pieces in place. That is how both Brisset and Rivers had such good seasons. Not sure you can peg this all on the team. Luck would take waaaay more hits than he needed to trying to win.

If you weant to _prove_ Fields was failed by his team, it's easy: do a split-screen video showing Caleb Williams on one said doing what he's know for in college & Fields doing the Exact Same Thing on the other. This will p.o. all the Bears fans. Because either their team failed Fields or they failed Fields. If Caleb has only the same talent & the same level of it, then does better than Fields, the only difference is that them failing Fields *looks intentional.* Because how can they possibly have assessed these as different-level QBs if they are so good at what they do? (& if one does a split-screen video like I described, everyone _WILL see_ that they are each other's comps).

This might have been one of the most well said takes about that situation I’ve heard all offseason. Like you said if you just did a side by side, it would be night and day the difference in roster and really effort as far as trying to build around Caleb in comparison to building around Justin. I don’t know if Justin will see a lot of action for Pittsburgh this year but since they just declined his 5th year, maybe he gets an opportunity next year. I just wanna see him play on a team that can support him well. Always gonna believe in that dude

@@Gmanski3 Well that's just it: nobody _wants_ to give him a chance. I'm fully convinced that the sabotage of him was intentionally done by Eberflus & Co. It's 100% impossible that Not One Staffer Thought he may be concussed & 100% impossible that they did & said nothing when Fields called out his play-callers. But that split-screen idea is great as an idea towards _trying_ to get his career back on track. Social media influences humans. That's how Matt Canada got chanted out of town. This would be doing something *good* with it. We can't change the past. We can make the Bears look like the fools they are going forward though. ♪ "Make the video...♫ Make the video!!!" ♫ Is my hypnotism working? It's the off-season. @@Gmanski3 Thanks. Had to come back & reply in this new identity. Apparently my comments were bothering people. Or maybe Yt also doesn't like Fields. I actually found kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z36Dk7KspdOsj7g.html _after_ making that comment, can you *believe* it? Count the amount of times either of them place the ball so that it allows the defense to tackle the receiver immediately because it's off by inches or forces them to stop dead because the pass is so far off no way it isn't an INT in the NFL. Fields has all of two of the former. Caleb has 10 passes that are off-target from inches to miles & some even when he isn't being pressured. So the whole notion that he's generational is complete media hype. There's nothing Williams does that Fields doesn't. But the opposite isn't true. Fields has more rushes that verge on breaking out for big gains & is _far_ more accurate because that continued into the NFL where even his INTs & incomplete passes hit his receivers in the hands. I'm telling you, if you have the time & the will there is so much evidence here that Eberflus *and Poles* sabotaged him. You can argue whether it's deliberate or not, but there were two streaks of improved offensive play with the 2nd one coming on the heels of them acquiring Sweat & a new DC. So 'Flus was busy acclimating them to the team. So Getsy was in charge. & these were the same play used that made the Bears, _the _*_Bears_* the #1 offense 3 weeks straight in '22. This means Eberflus _cancelled _*_all the plays that made_* all 8 of Getsy's games better than all of his, *twice.* See what I mean? Either he was trying to sabotage Fields or he's a micro-manager who can't stand to see others succeed. Either way there's tons of ways to make a video exposing this *before* Fields gets the chance to prove me right.
