Afton was an opportunist. She slept with JR at Lucy wedding and then when she realized JR was a no good man after pimping her out to men she started seeing Cliff. When Cliff and Pam mom died she left Afton millions of dollars because she was with Cliffat the time.

J adore afton son franc parler elle était très intelligente et aurait pu être une femme parfaite pour cliff même si elle a fait des erreurs au début, elle se rattrape bien en sauvant la vie de cliff et celle de Bobby quand Katherine lui tire dessus, et avertie pamela à temps des manigances de Katherine, si elle s était lancée dans les affaires de pétrole en étant formee plutôt que d être chanteuse elle aurait fait des étincelles, dommage et dans le nouveau dallas elle aurait dû être un personnage important

Cliff destroyed every relationship in his life because of his obsessive, irrational and misguided desire to destroy JR, and his need for money and power. Cliff did not deserve Afton or Jamie, or any of the other women who got involved with him romantically. He didn’t even deserve his sister, Pam, or his mother, Rebecca. He used and abused their love and trust numerous times. Cliff was a great character on the show though. The character was annoying, funny, frustrating, and very flawed, but that’s what made it a great character. Ken did a marvelous job of portraying the character all those years.

Cliff driving her away was his biggest loser move ever.
