DALL-E 3 is a Game Changer!! From my experience It's actually very accurate with text in many cases, unless the sentence is super long :)

Yeah... I think the apostrophe might have something to do with it....I did a test with Ice Cream before the video and it worked just fine... it's okay though... still leaps ahead of anything else right now for text IMO

Okay fellas one of the best things I have found is to say things like spell "text" accurately and tell them how I want it.. Ie this word arched over and under etc.@@DetourShirts

DALL-E 3 is the best, I think, but text generation is not the greatest yet. A tip for vectorizer -- in the top left there is a palette and you can choose more colours to render!

I have trouble picking fonts for designs. Would you be able to go over some "go to" fonts that kind of work with anything (if any) and maybe how to select a good font? I have creative fabrica so I can grab any font from there with my subscription.

No it isn't..... Vectorizing is basically changing it into different color shapes that you can scale up or down.... upscaling is actually making it bigger in size. You don't have to vectorize before upscaling, I just like to so that I can bring it into Affinity Designer and change things up.

Thank you for this video! I LOVE IT!! Question: I was reading the comments that mention the vectorization of the image and why you do it- to pull it into Affinity, right? But you could also just download it as a PNG and upload it onto merch am I right? I guess what I'm asking is that the image doesn't have to be vectorized to use on Merch...

No.... I mean you could but most would be too small.... for Amazon you need a PNG that is at least 4500x5400 and most PNGs from AI are 1024x1024

ChatGPT 4 + Dall-E 3 is $20/month.... You can use it in a limited way with Bing.... If you want AI for Free you could try Leonardo. It's really good. It just can't do text (yet).... I'm also using Affinity Designer but you could use Inkscape which is FREE

This is totally amazing, and the results are totally brilliant. However, I do have one major reservation, and it's probably quite obvious. It's this:- Artificial Intelligence has come a long way in a very short time as we all know. Is not the time fast approaching where designers like you and I become sadly obsolete and maybe in the not too distant future customers of TeeShirts and other associated products could conceivably just type exactly what they want in a future version of more or less any print on demand site and get the instant results they want. It's a thought which kind of worries me potentially. 😢

I actually don't think so. Creativity/Originality is the value a graphic designer brings. There will always be designers who do well with their artwork. Just because we can digitally paint, does that mean someone who paints traditionally can't make a living painting? No.... It's the same with AI. AI is a tool and will not replace an individual's creativity. I'm not afraid of it. I embrace it.

because it's converting a pixelized artwork into a vectorized artwork and it doesn't always look the same.

The graphics and the interface and you have chat gpt also it's a big plus, it's way better than midj in my opinion, and the text isn't big Metter you edit it or change it easily
