He couldn't leave office because the British government was instigating that. He could not desert his people when Zimbabwe had been sanctioned. I think he was making sense.

No it even one country blamed the British government in reneging to an agreement which they signed. Is it not ironic that a current government borrows and the next government gets into power and says will not pay what the previous government had borrowed?
