Credit where it's due. As much as this was just a silly thing, they kept the Dalek behavior/characterization pretty on point. Whoever did that bit of work kept in character remarkably well.

That will have been Nicholas Briggs doing the voice. He's a writer and actor in his own right as well as having done the Dalek voice for literally like 25 years so it's no surprise he''s able to stay in character.

You can tell this Dalek is a bit more "fidgety" than usual, they don't normally wave the eye stalk and weapons around as much as this, but I suppose with a live audience and out of context like this there's a greater need to keep up some movement to not just be static.

Everything is enhanced by the presence of a Dalek.

A Dalek once ran over my foot, it was in 1964 at the Ideal Homes Exhibition in the Kelvin Hall, Glasgow. The Daleks were being filmed moving around the various stands by the local tv news cameramen.
