The more I learn about Kelley, the more interesting and amazing her and Dale, Jr's live become to me. They really only had each other, and Jr. was extremely fortunate to have her as a sister!

How cool was that to have such a selfless sister to guide him and mentor him, Kelly is AWESOME.

He was so incredibly lucky to have had her in his life.

She called her stepmom "the other half of the equation" LOL. I think the only people at Teresa Earnhardt's funeral will be her copyright lawyers.

Tony Eury Jr actually gave Theresa a little bit of humanity when he was in Dale Jr's podcast. I think all the Earnhardts and Eurys will be there no matter what

I'm not sure who eventually "took credit" for raising these wonderful kids, but "they" should be very proud of these two humble, intelligent, loyal siblings!

I think they ended up raising themselves. I think even Dale Sr knew that, and you could see that towards the end of his life, that his kids got someplace despite the mistakes he had made. He was an emotional man who seem to have a very difficult time showing it in public. Privately, I think he was a different man.

What a great sister, I absolutely love how much they care for one another

I always knew Junior and Kelley were very close but had no idea of the back story. Sounds like she basically raised him. She definitely looked out for him. It's so cool how close they still are after experiencing all the fame and fortune. Shame on you Jr for going years without giving her a raise:)

Man, Dale Jr has got to be the nicest down to earth superstar there is in the world. A true gentleman. And the scary thing is that his sister Kelley is arguably a better person. 😲 Real classy people. This world needs more people like them. 👏

I’m so happy they have each other. They had a pretty unstable childhood with their Dad, which surprises me.

First off,great series of interviews. I really appreciate how he lets his guests speak without ever interrupting them.

What a sister!!! Their mom must be a super nice person because these two are great people!

Two of the most gracious and unselfish people out there.

Kelley just destroyed Teresa without mentioning her name. Dad always took care of him but not sure about the other half of the equation.

It’s now abundantly clear Teresa would have taken advantage of Junior had he not had Kelly handling his brand, finances and negotiating on his behalf. I once heard him say how Kelly took care of everything and all he had to do is race.....He’s very fortunate to have had Kelly step in when she did.....It was just after Senior passed and Junior’s career and popularity was skyrocketing......It was a vulnerable time for Junior....the wrong person could have really took advantage of the situation.

Yes I saw an interview that said he had never negotiated his pay with his dad and Teressa they just paid him what they thought he should be paid and when Gibbs made him an offer it freaked him out and when he met with the next team he told them to get with Kelly he didn’t want to see it. She is definitely her brothers keeper.

You 2 should be the example of how siblings should be with each other.

Having siblings doesn't guarantee closeness. Despite my best efforts, my siblings and I aren't close. I don't know why, maybe we are such different people. Also, my parents spoke to us about bonding but their efforts suggested otherwise, as they often compared us to each other and played favorites.

Kelley is like my big sister. She sees my weaknesses and would have done the same thing as Kelley in that situation. She is tough and smart and full of love for her brother.

Kelly reminds me a lot of my Aunt. Listening to their story reminds me a lot of my own childhood. My grandparents raised me most of my life and my Aunts and my uncle were like my brother and sisters. One aunt was always there with me letting sleeping in her bed if I was scared and basically just treating me like a son. We had moved to another state and she wound up getting married to the man that’s my uncle today and stayed there when we moved back. When I got older my Uncle told me that she had given him an ultimatum if they were to get married in that if I were ever in trouble or needed somewhere to go that their home would always be open to me.

Dale and Kelley are good caring people.

Poor Kelley 😂. Talk about loving a brother. He males sure to acknowledge it now.

Diane Getz you are only one who said it accordingly to the Truth . It was Lotsa of Love in the household to, lotsa normalcy as well. people will talk sh't especially when they're full of it.

This is what people don’t realize what the Earnhardt’s went through they had separations and divorces and adoptions just like any other family , and the story of Dale Junior and Kelly is incredible the bond that this brother and sister had , it’s enough to make me want to cry because it’s similar to what me and my older sister once had , it’s just incredible what she done for that young man and how she loves him like she’s his mother just incredible is all I can say as I cry😢

Kelley is a great woman. I always suspected that and this interview really revealed that!

Kelley is absolutely a class act. I was in the collectibles biz back in the day she was and she took super good care of our tiny little company

I am impressed. Not really being a NASCAR fan, I am aware of all of the stars. After seeing the group of interviews with Dale Jr, I realize how normal he is!!

She is a special person. One in a million.

My older daughter is 6 years older than my other daughter and is her guidance/role model. They are so tight it is not a breakage bond...when they were much smaller, they would re-enact the song & dance "Sisters" from "White Christmas." Time proved that quite prophetic

I remember when Kelly and Dale Jr rolled into Nashville Fairgrounds with their late Model race cars it's been a while ago but as I remember she ran better than him.

Kelly needs to be in the HOF next to Jr for everything she did to be Jr’s rock and with JRM.

Im an only child, and seeing the bond my son and daughter have makes me wish I had a sibling growing up, even tho I didn't realize it at the time

No offense...but, my big sis is completely awesome. Number 1 in my book, and so similar to Kelley, and other sisters like her, who have really raised their brothers. There have to be special rewards in Heaven just for them!!!

My siblings and I are not close. It's not that we don't have anything to do with each other, my parents just never demonstrated it for us, and both parents had favorite children, so the bond isn't quite the same as some brothers and sisters. My children, when I have them, will be raised differently.

I love Kelly for what she did for Dale Jr Kelly Earnhardt You're the twin of your father and you don't even know it you think like him you look like him and you act like him always watching over your little brother Dale Jr is the luckiest man in the world

Dale is very fortunate to have older siblings. It’s extremely hard being the oldest! You carry all the weight of the others. In my family I was the most outed of them all an the odd ball out! So I was the one left out in the cold

Ty Norris said in the past that Theresa once told him “we can “find” another Dale Jr”…that is so insane to think. And this is her talking about her step-son she has known since he was a 6 year old! ☠️
