1) I explain the issue with using the Dakota Digital Speed Converter SGI-100BT box. I've worked with the Techs @ Dakota Digital very extensively and they couldn't figure why it doesn't correctly on my K swap. Also tried the diodes and they don't work either.
2) I will explain the installation process of the Dakota Digital SGI-100BT for my K Swap (K Series High frequency Signal Transmission to Hondata Kpro V4 & Acura Integra gauge mph cluster.
3) I explain how to setup, bluetooth app, dialing in speed.

    I have the same issue on my Dakota sgi-5e Mine actually not as laggy as yours bit still lags. Another issue I have on mine is the speedo would actually drops the speed reading to zero under heavy acceleration or vtec. I'm convinced dakota just sells rubbish product for our kswap cars I'm gonna try using ktuned speed converter next Everyone seems to have good result with that

    K-Tuned VSS converter box instructions says to tap the box GND wire into a GND wire from the harness, not connecting it from the box to a chassis ground.

    @@jsrebuilds3951 I should have waited to post until I tried this myself, which I did tonight. JDM CL7 swap into an EK hatch, 02-04 RSX engine harness. DD SGI-100BT. I connected the DD GND to chassis ground, engine harness ground wire from KTuned instructions to SPD- on DD. Settings: H-L, LO input voltage advanced seeing, input pull-up ON. Initially went with OUT4, but the speedo was reading about double, so switched to OUT5 and it is really close. Very little adjustment needed. Unfortunately I am also getting the lag after longer stops but it seems to kick in around 20 not 40. Brief stops are fine. Application #3 in the instructions says to wrap VSS signal and ground wires together to minimize interference (which I didn't do) but I am doubtful it will make much of a difference.

    @@seancostello387 Thank you for responding to the comments and helping us out. I've worked with 2 of their techs extensively and I know their tried to help me out but they are not willing to admit that their product doesn't works for our application. No one has responded if the ktuned box is the better solution.

    ​@@jsrebuilds3951 I see the Hondata sticker on your ECU. If you are running KPro, depending on your version, you could do the conversion at the ECU and not have to worry about an external unit. If you are trying to avoid spending even more money on the KTuned converter. kzread.info/dash/bejne/c2hhp6Woaa_blNY.html

    @@seancostello387 Hey Sean, thank you for this comment.Yes I do have a Hondata kpro v4. I've tried what vtec academy recommended on this video you sent me and it doesn't work either. I've actually called Hasport and talked them to make sure I was doing it right and it turns out it doesn't work at all. So I reached out to Hondata and they confirm it doesn't work the way vtec academy says. Hondata says their ecu is not made to be able to switch it to reading the high frequency of those kinds of transmission.

    I have the same box with a j swap and I can not get the bluetooth to show up on my phone. I went the the screen for blu and checked in my settings and in the app and it never shows up. Anything I can do after getting to the blu menu before it goes into bt pairing mode?

    I don't know the answer to your question. You should reach out to Dakota Digital for tech support. I'm leaning towards getting the ktuned vss converter.

    @@jsrebuilds3951 yeah running that box I don't have a swap I put a sequential gear box and the Speedo used to run of the old one so tapped into the abs sensor
