In the last 50 years I've listened to all the greatest music of the 100+ years of recording. IMO DakhaBrakha is the best musical ensemble ever. They truly make magic.

I know what you mean. Too much of commercial music is One Thing only: an image, a reputation, how cool they look. Eric Clapton is an excellent guitar player who largely plays music I don't want to listen to for instance. Whereas Led Zepelin gets _some_ of that with Jimmy Page * John-Paul Jones, their songs fail to hold my attention at all. Joe Jackson, Kate Bush, Joni Mitchell & Leonard Cohen are people that adjust the music to the needs of the song & don't worry about expectations. Here, you have a chorus that is excellent on its own, & they're playing instruments as well, with music written to fit the song. Nothing here is designed to fit a style, they'll adjust that to the needs of the song. Not many people do that because very few _can._ So they are QUITE the breath of fresh air on pretty much all levels.

Music sounds like a mongolian elderly steam horse with fresh briquettes on an infinito voyage. From the East forests of Bucovinia on the Carpathio mountains bringing a jazz mood to our souls, and drums to the hearts .
Magic!
Я очень рада что мы живём в одно время, и я могу познать такую прекрасную музыку!

I think it's called Tarilka. Could not find it on their site, looks like it was not released in any album. Wikipedia said it was an OST for the Ukrainian movie Firecrosser
Дахабраха - це шось нереальне, як не з цього світу. Шкода шо на батьківщині їх так не цінують як по світу!

Що я помітив... Додають щось говеньке, виточують кожну пісню до ідеалу, при тому шо все наживо
"Producer: Ryan Stiles." WLIIA Ryan Stiles? The "guy who gets paid for trying to drive Colin Mochrie nuts" Ryan Stiles? That's probably just me trying to associate One Awesome Thing with another. But a quick search shows me that Pendarvis Farm is in Oregon where, if I remember correctly, he _had been_ trying to get some clubs going. So... could it be?
