It looks like they might have updated the physics to make it better and it now supports steering wheel controllers.

I like your chill style - subbed! Photo mode is basically pause in the replay mode. Check out the legend at the bottom of the screen and you'll see the buttons for focal length, lens type, camera roll etc.

Ahhhh, I see. I had my HUD turned off so none of those options showed up whenn in replay. I see it now though thank you. So this is a totally unrelated question but have you figured out why the vehicles bog down so much when climbing a hill. It's driving me nuts. Thanks for the comment and sub. I got you back.

@@VikingWarlord I think it's due to a pressure drop in the turbo system. I tested the new update with the L04F which has precisely zero torque and it initially wouldn't climb hills which left me tearing out my hair. To combat this, I dropped a gear and then released the throttle to re-pressurise the turbo, then immediately floored it again. This worked a treat. I'm pretty sure that's not how turbochargers work in the real world but if it gets me up a hill then I'll take it 😁

@@GrandpaGoesGaming I was using the big TATRA Truck with the double axles in the back (red truck DLC) and it was coming to a crawl while everyone else blew by me. I thought boy for having so much torque this thing is struggling. I messed with the split between the front and rear power differential thinking maybe with its weight I needed more front wheel power. I'm no mechanic/race tuner. So I don't really know all the ins and outs of what everything does. I wish there was some proper tuning guides out there. Haha.

​@@VikingWarlordI love the trucks in this game, they make it so unique among other rally style games 👍 I also don't touch the tuning if possible as I don't want to mess up my vehicle 😂 Pretty sure that letting your foot completely off the gas and dropping a gear should help but I'll have to investigate this now 😅

@@GrandpaGoesGaming I am testing the tunings now. I think my next video will be discussing this. You can revert the tunings back to default settings if you feel like you messed something up. I have found a pretty good setup that works for all vehicles...I have been fishtailing and drifting with it without losing control. It's pretty solid and gives you that adrenaline rush.

Did they update the free roam mode to add a map and reasonable restarts instead of restarting from the beginning?

I have not check free roam in the 2.0 update. But I will try to do that today and let you know.

@@DylanHunter64 gotcha...that's what I would love to explore all the miles and miles of desert with a group of peeps trying to find cool points of interest. Its basically 5 big huge area maps, pieced together with little connection points. So technically it's one big map...but I consider it 5 good sized maps pieced together.

To answer your question, yes you start from the beginning every time you crash or manually reposition (holding circle).

Why do you think they have cancelled this promised roadmap feature? Have a look at the player base and you understand why. This game has been a commercial flop (rightfully so) and they will not spend/waste any further money to continue developing the game.

It is totally on them for the game flopping. But it is a lot better now than when it launched. They should have included it because it was in the road map. The fact they cut the feature...really makes them look bad as a company.
