Tony romo is an exceptional broadcaster. He has a nice voice, predicts plays, and has credibility. He’s better than Olsen who doesn’t have good cadence and has an okay voice. Orlovsky has an annoying voice so don’t even bring him up. Don’t say Romo isn’t the top dude. I don't think he's saying Tony isn't a good broadcaster. What he's asking is how did he step into that role, that top spot, right away? Could it be because he was a natural? Perhaps. But could it also have been because he was a Cowboys QB beloved by Jerry Jones who had enough strings and pull to get him into any role he wanted? Perhaps. I think we can all agree that Tony is a great fit alongside Jim Nance, but following the line of questioning of from his QB days in Dallas to his broadcaster role, it seems that Tony has benefitted from high rewards (salary, contract extension, etc) without having to prove himself first.
