Unboxing video of the 2023 Daiwa Saltist SV TW 80 XHL PE Special Baitcasting reel. This reel is made to be spooled up 0.8 to 1 Gou Braided line for inshore saltwater fishing. With the US going towards more finesse fishing, this is a Japanese Daiwa Reel that really needs to come to the US market. I have purchased this at a ridiculous price on Amazon since Yen is down under 150 dollars before tax! It will be my Fluke Fishing reel :)

It's not bad! I don't think I casted 1/8th Oz last trip, but 3/16th Jig and a 3.5 inch Scented jerk ShadZ did get launched. I used mainly that and the 4.5 inch version!

Unfortunately, my budget been pretty slim lately. Especially on the CDM world. Most of my budget has been focused on the Mainstream US and JDM stuff. I also got to go Florida for a show, so money is tight. That is a very popular reel for the past.. maybe over a year? Many folks and other content creators tend to rave about it and the Facebook group seems to like it. I personally have very little desire for the CDM market lately as they all still need to improve on quality and since Yen is down, I have been exploring Japanese products instead. If you must get a reel from Asia... I assume Haibo Arise would be just as good as Ark Gravity BFS reel since Haibo utilized Ark's Gravity Control Braking system.
Know of any budget baitcaster reels that dound like the dc line up ?
