I never hated a single one of the actors. They're all class people. It's a shame that being in disliked movies created negativity towards them.

Honestly daisys kinda hot too and a pretty decent decent actor, there’s a reason why he calls her Rey bae bae so much. Just horrrrrrible writing. Finns pretty good too I like him a lot, but yknow, dumb fans smh…

Its usually the directors and producers fault for the movie failing that what happen to Hayden and the actor of JAR JAR in the Prequels its was never their fault the movie didnt turn out as good there are some fans are just straight up jerks

You can’t blame the actors at all…they would’ve signed up for the movies after having only read the script for the first movie, if that. It was impossible for them to know how bad the 2nd and 3rd movies were going to be

I agree.

I have never met a person in real life who didn't want a female director, story teller, or actor in SW. I have heard "I wish the story was better". If anything I feel that SW fans in general are still bullied today and its Media as usual fueling fires.

The problem is just like Daisy said it was blown out of proportion. How SW Theory is sexist which he wasn't or isn't.

Ngl that’s pretty noice to know that Daisy stood up for the fandom and I know it’s not her fault for how they made the movie so seeing her stand up for everyone on top of being a chill person is very good indeed

Great commentary! I got nothing against Daisy Ridley. Rey was just poorly written, along with most everything about the sequel trilogy. I'm still not excited about a Rey movie because I don't think that is a character that can be fixed this late in the game. They skipped everything between the beginning and the end of the hero's journey.

The actors in the sequels has always been the best part about the sequels, which makes it even more sad that all of the characters they played sucked.

i really hope Daisy Ridley can soon play the main role in a star wars movie with a competent director that at least can give her a good story becouse she deserves so much better

Rian Johnson is not a man. Its a demonic entity from another dimension who was set to destroy Star Wars and Luke Skywalkers legacy.

She’s a class act . I hope she gets more roles outside of franchise films. We have seen this time and again though. Actors Actresses get pigeonholed by franchise films.

I’ve always been a fan of Daisy Ridley and I personally liked Rey.

I have my problems with the sequel trilogy but I was always going to watch the new movie, if Luke can have hope in darth Vader I can have hope in Disney. I love Star Wars and the actors so much and I believe the movie can turn out well.

I dont have anything against any of the Actors/Actresses for the sequel trilogy I genuinely feel bad for them. With that being said they should totally retcon the sequels. Those movies are nothing but rehash lazy writing garbage

I think it sucks that the actors now days of Star Wars say better things about Star Wars then the own writers or directors, the ones that actively have the control over their own stories they tell. Like, if you don’t like it and then the fans aren’t gunna like it, Then. Don’t. Make. it. People don’t wanna see it, you don’t wanna see it (directors and writers) so just create something and listen to others around you at most the littlest way and just make something good that everyone will love, it’s not that hard unless you’re gunna keep spewing that “it’s time a woman take a run at Star Wars” which doesn’t make any sense at all, I think sometimes they need to watch what they say the most about it Star Wars, not the fans, because then it gets them and unfortunately the fans, us, in deeper water that we don’t need to be in

i mean, the sequels were BAD. like really bad. it’s not her or any of the actors faults tho, but Disney’s creative decisions. Disney doesn’t know how to make new interesting characters, and that’s extremely obvious by the parallels between every “new” character and original characters from 1-6. they were literally given a blueprint for success by Lucas himself and chose not to use any of it. that will forever be the saddest part about the whole thing. i’m glad she understands the fans, and kinda makes you feel like she knew the movies weren’t gonna be received well even when they were being made.

I'm sorry but the reason why no one wants the director is not because there a woman, but because their an activist and because they have no experience in making movies, only documentaries. The only reason that kathleen Kennedy hired Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy was just because she's a woman. If you think that looking at the resume means nothing compared to representation then you sir cannot tell what real entertainment is. after all if your really on the woke critics side then have fun being with people who make up 1 percent of the audience.

I think you are falling for pr from daisy considering all questions are usually vetted by the actor or someone once before hand in most cases and we rarely get a real response.
