SmythJunior I’ve been an emotional wreck. It could have possible changed it for the best or worse cause I don’t think I’ll ever approach a relationship the same. I’ve never related with a character as much as I did with Connell.

I don't think I barely blinked for 6 hours when I was watching this show, it just had my full attention all the time which is rare.. what an amazing show, sad that I didn't read the book first but now I definitely have to.

Definitely give the book a read. It's exactly the same as the TV series (which I watched before reading the book) but somehow the emotion is more raw in the book.

Anytime Marianne would be intimate with Jamie or her other boyfriends, I absolutely hated it. There was no love or emotion just raunchy lust. However, with Connell it was so beautiful and you’d feel the love they had for one another through the screen. My new favorite show for sure.

True. I loved the way Marianne and Connell looked at each other after their “raunchy” scenes which made it not seem so raunchy. It was just normal love making between two people who are obviously so infatuated with each other. It was beautiful and not awkward

They are a modern day Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling - insane chemistry that literally steals the show, and both so lovely in real life.

Normal people is by far one of the greatest TV shows I've ever seen! Beautiful, stunning plot and the actors are just insane! Lots of love!

I don’t think I have ever related to or watched a show more real ever before. It was so raw, emotional and deep that will not ever be beaten. The acting is so pure and the talent is incomparable and these two and the show deserve everything and more!!

adore these two! the acting was phenomenal and their chemistry is insane. was kind of in shock after finishing the final episode because of how bittersweet and contented i was with the ending. this show is definitely one of the rare occasions of an adaptation being quite as good as the book, and still stayed true to it.

The last 3 episodes were the most beautiful ... It was wonderful seeing a male character be so vulnerable, and be so okay with it... The whole thing was just wow...💓💓💓💓

This show is a whole experience. Everything about it i like: The cinematography, the acting, the writing, the soundtrack, the story, the beginning and the end. Ugh. Is my favorite coming of age series/film. I feel like i am a mixure of both main characters

Paul has said he sees Connell as a real person and thinks he and Marianne will still be connected in the next 20,30,40 years so in real life who knows what might happen with Paul and Daisy. Intriguing to say the least.

I felt like I was a part of their lives while watching and when it ended I missed them so much! Can’t explain it. Just heartbreaking and beautiful. ❤️

I am so happy that intimacy coordinators exist. Paul and Daisy seem very content with the process and the outcome. It is obvious special care was taken for both actors.

I literally adore those two. I hope Daisy get an Oscar or a Globe someday.

I watched the show before reading the book. I’m so glad I did that. My heart actually ached whilst watching the series. My stomach and chest would actually tighten when I would watch the scenes of their first kiss. Or the disappointment of the “Debs” scene. His first sight of her at uni or ANY scene in which he cries. The little intonations and noises of uncertainty/anxiety he makes as Connell is so relatable and sincere it actually broke my heart. Exceptional performances by both actors. They should absolutely be proud of what they’ve created by allowing us a glimpse into a young, complicated and heart aching love. Well done!!!

They made there characters raw and honest. Their chemistry made everyone engaged. I like the show more than the book.

I am 47 and never thought I would enjoy this but I absolutely loved it, it brings up so many emotions. My heart broke piece by piece. The acting is unreal. The main characters and all the cast. I absolutely binge watched this in a day and I am addicted to their chemistry on screen. It is so incredibly addicting and so believable.

Never heard of the book but the series was amazing! The acting was so mature and natural and emotional rollercoaster. Both daisy and mescal are pure talent. Mescal, oh my god, he feels few years older than 24 in a good way. Can't wait to see more of him!

Only here to hear Daisy Edgar-Jones' accent. Her accent in Normal People is absolutely perfect. It never faulters, not once. Astonishing achievement. Amazing acting from the pair of them.

Best series I’ve ever watched

I read the book after watching the series . And god this is the first time that a see a show as good as the book . They portrayal of the characters is phenomenal.
