It years later now. How is your genetic program going? I have dairy sheep too. Far less then you. Talk about udder confirmation and improving it is a top topic. There is also talk about creating a hair breed dairy sheep here in the U.S. Thanks for sharing your dairy.

Is it Maori Milk or Maui Milk? It makes sense to be Maori in New Zealand. Why would they call it Maui if it is not in Hawaii?

I care to know where my food comes from and how it is treated and raised. I take care of my body. I trust all of the country of New Zealand products.

These sheep have avery good quality of life.Look at milking sheep around the world and they don't come anywhere near the condition you see here. Some babies are intolerant to baby formula from cows milk and depend on formula made from sheep or goat milk

@@johngraham8893 I assume you have not spent much time in less developed countries or for that matter, even parts of France, Greece or other European countries. I also visited the goat farm in Kula, so I am just saying that bigger is not always better!

@@eva-mariavonbronk5186 Here in New Zealand animals generally have avery good quality of life. These sheep are border line spoilt they have such a good life. They are almost over fat.Thats nearly unheard of for a dairy animal that you normally see most of their bones poking out.You are right that bigger is not always better but this farm looks to be doing all they can to look for improvements. If only this was the norm for farms
