Daily Life of a Tibetan Working Women; How is it like working on the Roof of the World?

Hello everyone,
Tashi Delek!
Welcome to an exploration of the daily life of Tibetan working women, a captivating journey that delves into the unique experiences of those who toil on the "Roof of the World."
In this video, I will uncover her remarkable resilience, professional pursuits, personal aspirations, and the delicate balance she maintains between work, family, and self-care.
Also, you can have an impression of the accommodation condition of Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet, the gate to Mount Everest.
Get ready to be inspired by the spirit of a Tibetan working woman and gain a deeper understanding of our Tibetan culture and life.
Hope you will enjoy my video as usual.

I have been on a 9 day visit to Tibet recently and stayed at several hotels in lhasa, shigatse and Gyantse. I found the staff extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms so clean and great hospitality. Every day they brought us fresh fruits in our room. Lovely. But I must say that the staff work long hours so I hope they get good salary and benefits.

I have to say, that lady is so clean and does her job so seriously. I love that she as a manager still helps clean and sweeps the hotel. You will never see a Westerner manager do that. I also love how strict she is with the room checks, can’t believe she checked the rim of the toilet and picked dirt off the carpets. Wow, wow, that is super hygienic. I would definitely stay there. She seems to love and take a lot of pride in her work. They seem to be happy that they have a job. So many people in the Western world complain about working. We can learn so much from them. Can you please do more videos on hotel reviews? Love to see places and different types of accommodations. Do they have like homes stays where tourists can stay with a village family and live and eat with them there? 💜❤️💙. Love from Australia 🇦🇺

Wow...amazing, I was told Tibet is oppressed you can't use the language which has been eradicated and religion is heavily restricted and all signs are in chinese only. How different from what we hear in western media. Not only that, the place looks well kept and people well fed, unlike many parts of say India. in fact actually looks like Tibet is getting richer...everything nicely maintained especially of course the monastery. Meanwhile in the US, native American populations are dying with the shortest life span, males around 50yrs. Go figure.

Half knowledge is dangerous to self and to the society . All you hear may not be truth but all you see also necessarily contain the whole truth .. You have no idea how our grandparents has suffered when ccp invaded in 1950s .. The Schools, infrastructures, hotels , railway connection, moder. Cities.....don't get carried away with it .. There are more happening behind the scenes which you and many others didn't even figure it out what really China has done and been doing and how the Tibetans been living since ...

Don't worry, the Western media disinformation operators will be on this very soon. They will always find some way to drum up the oppression theme. Just like Libyans were being 'oppressed and genocided' under Qaddafi (they had Africa's highest life expectancy and per capita income). Already you can read tenzind4175 here saying there's 'more happening behind the scenes'. I don't know what he's gonna claim, but I guess CIA hasn't told him what to write yet.

@@tenzind4175 I agree half knowledge is dangerous. The problem is everyone is listening to half truth and knowledge. Very few people know that the US war in Iraq over fake WMD killed upwards of half a million to a million Iraqis (depending on the sources). The current Iraqi government installed by the US understandably would not want to disclose factual numbers. The deaths were due to the initial invasion and subsequent suppressions of insurgency and the resulting ethnic civil wars. I initially supported the war because of the WMD rationale but regretted it ever since and I felt betrayed.
