I had to comment again, i have been binge watching your videos this weekend and you are one inspiring lady. OMG. I have just watched Fairfield Horseshoe in the snow and you are so brave. I was worried for you there getting lost and then those cattle!! Wild camping in the snow that is on a different level. I have the warmth and safety of my van. I am so impressed by what you do and you are so lovely with it, your love for Oslo. I love my van trips its what i have missed most in lockdown. I lived just outside Bude in a cottage off grid in the middle of a field and you went to Widemouth Bay in Cornwall and i was always there in my van getting a coffee. Tintagel and Crackington Haven. I love North Cornwall for the beauty and ruggedness and i think you would love Hartland Quay just inside the Devon Border for the rock formations and Trebarwith Strand. Still loads more videos to see but have loved everyone so far. Loved watching you bake as well. Thank you for awe inspiring content. I love cycling too i have never found anyone with so many of the same interests. I am hoping to do some trips over the Summer in the Peak District i have only been to Dovedale. I think your book is called for ! Well done for that as well xx

Hi, hope you find somewhere special to live soon, not easy with lockdown, shame your landlord couldn't wait for things to settle down. I've taken on writing a journal each day, started in November and it's really helped. Also think of 3 things that I'm grateful for each day. So thanks for suggesting this in your video's ❤

Hi Athena, my Niece is studying in Melbourne and it was a struggle to find her an apartment to begin with but in the end it all worked out fantastically. I am sure you will find a great place, it allways works out.

Another lovely homely video Athena. I cant get out walking much due to a knee injury that keeps flaring up. But you and Harvey have inspired me to scrap my old knackered trailer tent and rebuild the trailer into a teardrop style camper so I can get out to see more of our beautiful countryside. Hi Athena first comment from me even though I've been watching your vlogs for the past 6 months plus. I do find the vlogs relaxing to watch and they have that 'feel good' factor that most of us need at the moment. I have just placed an order for the Peak District guide as I only live an hour or so away and looking forward to when we are able to travel again. Good luck in the search for a 'new' house. ☺

Glad the book is going well, I’m thinking of moving to the Peak District later in the year. I’ve sold a few things on Amazon before, don’t know if you know about fulfilment by Amazon where by you could get the books sent into Amazon and they would take care of all the orders and deliveries, you’d have to put it up for sale on Amazon of course and they would take a cut but it’s another avenue for you and maybe easier logistics wise. Great video as always. Dave

Just discovered your channel, I Hope you're doing okay in the lockdown your cottage looks so beautiful. I particularly love the crocheted hikers in your office i'm guessing its you and your partner so cute! This was a beautiful capture of your life very calming and relaxing. Just found your channel and so glad i have. Its right up my street. I get van life. Love it and Oslo especially. You are a nice couple. Happiness is my campervan and a dog !! I have a van conversion called Bumble and the first video i watched yesterday was A van life day on the Yorkshire Coast and that is so me. In my van looking at the view with a coffee going on a walk. !! I go it alone but your never alone with a dog. I am hooked. People do come up and ask all sorts of questions about my van. I have my little campervan and go to Cornwall and love my coastal walks, watch the sunset, good for the soul. I love being in my van just the freedom and scenery to die for just back to basics and taking photos of my travels. I cant wait for Summer after lockdown and plan a few more trips. Its my little sanctuary. Lockdown has been hard when you love travelling and hiking. Nothing better than waking up in the middle of a field watching the sunrise with a coffee in the Summer. Looking forward to catching up on your videos and book. Thank you for your content x

Northern britian is mountainous and beautiful and less populated but the south is great too. and there are more woodlands in the south and it is quite hilly. and welsh mountains and hills are beautiful :)

Looks a lovely place.... hope you find somewhere equally as nice. You showed us the candles I like having candles about in the evening but so many have the standard paraffin based wax, this makes my eyes sore, what is the “fuel” base in those candles please... ? 🤔

Hope your books were not delivered by Hermes! I have been waiting for ten days for them to collect goods to be returned to the supplier. They have got their wires crossed and every day they send me messages to say that my delivery has been delayed. I expect today their excuse will be that it has been raining! I have been sticking to the 'Boris rule' for my daily exercise. If it is all right for him to be seven miles from his home in a crowded urban area then it is all right for me to be the same distance from mine in a rural area where I can go for a walk. All day I might meet a farmer, a lot of sheep and cattle, and just the occasional walker. I will definitely be checking out Squarespace later. In this lockdown I have not been working. The client has put the project I was working on hold and I am now furloughed by my employer. I have been putting my time to good use - I want to sell my artwork, mainly landscapes and old village and town scenes in places I love like Scotland, the West Country and Yorkshire so I am busy building up my portfolio. Your book looks very interesting. I must have hundreds of walking books already and even though I keep buying them I rarely use any of them to plan a walk. But nevertheless I will definitely be visiting your part of the world when the lockdown ends as I am starting to run out of suitable material for my drawings!

Aww thank you! A bit more of a chatty one. It's from a Welsh company called Melin Tregwynt but I got it from a lovely store called Midgley Green. Yes we have found a lot of holiday cottages being rented out which is great for us as we want to live in the countryside! Unfortunately most of them don't allow dogs.

We thought about it initially but the valuation was too expensive for us, we’d also like to live more rurally. We are more in the suburbs here (albeit with some lovely walking nearby!)

We did think about it and we were going to put an offer in initially, but the valuation of the house was too expensive for us and we’d also like to live more rural in the countryside in the long term. This house is lovely but more in the suburbs of Sheffield 😊
