My friends asked me why I spent the money on the Gladiator Mojave when I could have built my own Jeep. I really didnt know what I had. Bypass external reservoir shocks, hydraulic jounce stops, beefed up Dana 44 axles, reinforced frame... Maybe I could now, now that I am tuned into the machine. But I might wind up spending more anyways. The designers behind the Mojave were really on the ball. Its more than the sum total of it's parts. I'm really proud of my kid for picking it out. Ready to jump?

I think most people forget that most of these trails were blazed by stock jeeps and you can have a blast in one, it doesn’t take money to go out and have fun. SxS can go pound sand and have ruined off roading

I can’t remember the video, but there was this XJ on 33’s doing the same obstacles as built JK’s on 40s and the guy driving the XJ was definitely having more fun.

My LJ I ran 31s on it completely stock for almost 5 years. It now is lifted on 33s. I take it around like it was on 40s. Honestly what I have learned is if you don't bounce it off the rev limiter it'll go up a lot that people say you cant. But you do have to plan your lines a lot more than you do in a built rig.

Ever think about doing a series of these, running through the whole Jeep family? My first wj was shockingly impressive for stock, same as the xj!!!!

i have beat on my 08 JKU and it is stock with only 35 inch mud terrains. i push it through a lot. Off roading is not so more of a drivers game than about the rig. if the driver knows their rig and knows what they are doing, they are going to do well. of course a rig does have limits but its still a drivers game. When in doubt throttle out

Man, I know the jeep is a capable vehicle. I want to modify mine, but at the same time I don't think I've ever practically found it's limits on a trail. I might have to hold off and keep running it until I truly find the limit of the stock jkr.

Good stuff!! I’m not the first to say it, but wheel what you’ve got! It really does make you a better driver. My son cut his teeth on a stock tj and now he’s living in St. George killing Sand Hollow on 35’s and long arms in his LJ.
