I prefer long sets like FT10 since it truly shows how great your skills are. FT2 is too dang short and offers nothing really spectacular with the matches. FT5 is just cutting it. Thus why FT10 shows how well a player adapts to win it all.

It’s crazy. Umehara couldn’t flash kick then first set because Kawano’s defense was so solid, but he cracked it by doing the two throws from wake up in the first game of set two. That obviously got into Kawano’s head which made him be less confident in doing the shimmy on wake up, which gave Daigo the chance to hit Flash Kick.

Toda vez que o kawano ativava o VT ele usava a mesma sequência. Mas o Daigo é o oto patama e ele joga d+ o tanto de variação que ele usa é absurdo.

16:45 how does he get that boom off? He doesn’t lose his charge when he takes those micro steps forwards and back super quick?

  • @korg6280

Might be wrong but pretty sure Daigo uses a Hitbox, so what youre seeing is him holding back but mashing the down button so as to micro-move for distance and a kind of wacky way to block his toes while doing so. If you 0.25 speed the video you can see he is indeed moving back (look at the tip of the boots) and you can juuust make out the first few frames of his stand to crouch animation

@@korg6280 Ahh thats right, I forgot he’s Hitbox master race now. I can definitely see it being some hitbox shenanigans lol. So hes not actually moving forward at all? Just the rapid fire crouching makes it look like hes moving forward?
