So sorry to hear you've lost your tubers, I left most of mine in the ground not expecting day after day of below zero temps so I'm not optimistic they'll come back! Oh well, chance to try new ones and you can always pick up pots in flower for cheap and you'll know the real colours too

I have some singles in the ground too, so it will be very interesting to see how they fair.

Thank goodness for CC subtitles, because I can barely hear you and my volume is at the highest setting. I planted my first dahlias mid/late summer last year, they were on sale at the grocery store, and blossomed beautifully. Those planted in pots, did nothing. Hopefully, they'll come back this spring/summer for a full season.

Exciting you are embracing change and doing things a little differently, I agree Mystery Fox is prolific, every year I seem to order Cornel Bronze but never get it, you've nudged me to try for brown sugar instead, will follow you with interest, im starting a new garden at work with some special needs young people, hopefully it will go well and they can sell some of their produce.
