I want them to know how much I truly love them... I grew up with them!!! I own EVERY main album they've released on vinyl!

That hug really says "We did it." They truly cared about each other and the work they did.

Some will say it wasn’t the best Album, but with Paul Williams and Nile Rogers you can’t go wrong. To this day, I consider this album to be one of the greatest moments in music history.

Their faces have been seen before, they didn't start their robotic personalities until 1999 couple of years after Homework, their first album. Before that they've been in an indie band together which disbanded and they've been working together since 1993.

Their hug as they go up to get their Grammy sticks with me, man. It's so clear how genuine of a friendship they have, and that they aren't just together because fame demands it.

Daft Punk did what not many artists achieved. Make music with pure passion and love, become a global success, not get mixed in drama and drugs and make it out alive and unharmed when hitting your absolute peak.

I just watched two robots share the most genuinely human hug I've ever seen.

Imagine somebody getting crazy over revealing personalities and suddenly opens their helmets so everyone can see who's hiding and these are absolutely different people under.

***** Not trying to start a fight but Thomas is taller than Guy right?? If you pause at 1:16 the man next to Thomas is shorter than him. The other person (on the right) is almost taller than Thomas. It does look like they might be them but it's not... so shorter version, if Guy is shorter than Thom and people think he is right by the robots than why is the man taller than the other over by Thom??

Well, they punked us all, since they are the ones sitting across the stand ins with the robot costumes.

One of the most beautiful things in this video is how Paul Williams put the acceptance speech into words. Thomas and Guy-Man were such huge fans of Paul and Phantom of the Paradise seeing that translate into the amazing collaboration on RAM, really warms me I'm just happy they were able to make something incredible and timeless before their send-off. Thanks Robots!

idk how but I feel like I can see the difference in their facial expressions, between being amazed/speechless, and proud in themselves, pure happiness. its truly crazy when you think about how far they came from making dance music in their bedrooms in the 1990s to winning a Grammy for the best album world wide, especially when back then electronic dance music was meant to be an anti fame music business. 🤩

Taylor and her team were so cocky and on the edge of their seat to win that they emabarrassed themselves like that. Well deserved.

You could just tell when they were hugging each other, you could see the joy and excitement they felt, even with the helmets on.

Random Access Memories was so so deserved bro. Daft Punk was my fucking childhood.

Daft Punk should have won a best Album Grammy for Discovery in 2002. This was too long coming.

It's so emotional how they first hug not people around them, but themselves. And what a warm and meaningful hug. They were expecting them to start walking up to the stage but they were still hugging. Man, they will be remembered as legends.

That hug gets my teary eyed, random access memories was such a good album to go out on

To have someone like Nile Rogers on your team is Historic. This guy is also a living legend. Their music fusion is priceless 🔥🔥. Silk Sonic is carrying the torch with their genius minds for the younger generation. 💯💯

Such a great acceptance speech from such a wonderful little human, Paul Williams. Really glad Thomas and Guy got to work with one of their heroes and one of the greatest songwriters of all time on their last album
