I bought this product at Costco due to price. My experience was so amazing I googled to find out more and was directed to your video. Your review is on target! I was not thrilled with the color and the smell of either product but decided to use them rather than waste money. After three days I am heading back to Costco to purchase several more sets. 1) I kept going to the mirror because I could not believe the feel and the condition of my hair. I thought I was imaging how incredible the results were. 2) I wash my hair every day. I am on day 3 and still do not need to wash my hair. However, I did because I love the results. Whenever people say "this product changed my life" or something similar I think they are being hyberbolic. Not this time...this product is amazing.

I LOVE the smell of my hair as a result of this product! I actually don't smell what you mean by herbally... everyone compliments how my hair smells.

Love this shampoo and conditioner. Saved my damage hair after I bleached before. At first I didn't like the smell and the texture, but I continue to use and patiently waiting for the result, I'm surprised that my hair become soft and manageable again, less frizzy and control hair loss. I also noticed the more I use the smell became refreshing to my hair. This shampoo is really great for perm/curly hair. The best shampoo I ever had.. ❤

i hope Costco keeps this line forever. They already kicked out a lot of my favorite products.

I feel so stupid I couldn’t figure out how to “unlock” the pump🤣🤣😂So I searched this but the pumps were already open so I was immediately sad. As I am watching I figured it out😂🤣This review definitely help in confidence in my purchase because this is my first time using. The shampoo I have is from another line, Ryo. Wish me luck!

OMG 4months..... THIS WORKS FOR REAL!!!! not losing hardly ANY hair anymore! Texture changed to smooth. Smell is weird but WORTH IT. STOPPED MY HAIR LOSS!

I didn’t know they had them at Costco! I bought mine from HauteLook 3 months ago and couldn’t find any reviews online. Thank you for going over the ingredients because mine is all in korean. I used devacurl and my hair became fried/frizzy looking and started falling out in chunks. I had to chop it off. When I started using this shampoo it could feel a difference like no other shampoo before and I’m never going back to western shampoo

This is the best product hands down

im so glad to found this video..i am struggling with hair loss/itchy scalp/dandruff etc. for a long time and have tried so many different shampoo's..all kind of drug store and also high end products but have never found the right one , btw i have also straight asian hair. I really thought about the products of function of beauty , cause there are tons of reviews and recommendation about it..but after seeing this video i guess i will try the daeng gi meo ri instead, cause i do have sensitive scalp and it get really irritated and itchy really quick

Started today 😅. I can smell what u were talking about. I’m so excited to see what the results will be since I’m concerned for hair loss, skin irritation, my greys and just overall my hair looking not so healthy.

I just bought it 2 days ago at Costco here in Hawai’i for $20 (this was a splurge for me because I don’t spend more than $7 for hair care) and used it yesterday. I am loving it, especially it’s just my first time. It made my hair very soft and smooth, smells pretty good too. I looked up Daeng Gi Meo Ri everywhere and saw that they are more expensive than what I bought them for. So when I come back to Costco, I’m buying 2 more. Ha ha ha! Thank you for your video, your voice is pretty soothing and you did a good job!!

Cheers To It really is since it’s originally $28 for both shampoo and conditioner but they have $8 off right now. And I thought that was expensive already. But I’m surprised when I saw online in amazon & ebay that it’s at least $26 for just the shampoo! Have you used other Daeng Gi Meo Ri products? If yes, can you make a review too?

@@Wherehopebloomsbrighter I agree it is a bit pricey, but I am so glad Costco is offering them at a lower price! The only other product I have tried is the Daeng Gi Meo Ri Tea Tree Oil Shampoo! I love that as well! It is super refreshing on the scalp and it really cleans everything off! I use that one once a week! I as able to find that one at my local TJ Maxx for a SUPER deal, but I can't find it there anymore. If you watch my "why I stopped using Function of Beauty" video I speak about the tea tree shampoo there! You can just skip to that part!

Just bought the set and found your channel. OMG. I love it too. After using it just once I am noticing it feels stronger. Hair is still wet. Brushed out very nice. I like the scent. I love these. I've bleach my hair so many times. Is white and breaking. Only used this twice and it's so much better than anything else I've seen on KZread for bleached blonde hair. Also my daughter used it all summer, no more dandruff and her hair got super long super fast

@@leewongisme i didnt darken my hair. this actually strips away color. i put silver in, this would wash the silver out in a wk. i stop using this when i put purple in my hair (4months). then recently i put in a natural brown. been using this to help with growth but its striping my brown. parts of my hair, you can see green and blonde

There is a new Ginseng one at Costco, supposingly a protein treatment, which I hear is good for hair repairing. Have u tried that one? If u have, I would love 2 know your experience.

@@leewongisme yea, just got it a 2 wks ago. I noticed my hair growing faster than before. I don't have much hair falling out like before esp after all the bleach I had put in it. Also, yes it's not color safe so don't use it if you've dyed your hair. Unless you don't care and just letting it grow out line me!

I read on the bottom of my bottle and it says it could lead to hair loss if not rinsed out completely....just wondering if this is true ?

I honestly cut and shape them myself at home the majority of the time, but when I do go to nail places, I ask for a rounded square! Its kind of in-between that and a coffin shape (I just don't like it too coffin-y if you know what I mean)

Can you try more shampoos with green tea to see if they help control oil? Or other ones for oil control? Do you use dry shampoo

I used to use dry shampoo in between washes, but after switching to this shampoo and conditioner I don't even have to use those anymore! My oil is very controlled with this shampoo and conditioner set, and I have a VERY oily scalp naturally so I know that its gotta be this stuff (I haven't changed anything else in my hair care routine) I can go about 4-6 days without having to wash my hair! It gets oily around day 4-6 depending on what activities I do in the week! I can try to do some research on other green tea shampoos after I use up this one! It might be a while though since these bottles are so large, but if I come across one I will make sure to review it for you!

I used the same conditioner on my scalp as well and it flatted my hair. Just wanted to make sure that it’s supposed to go on the scalp every use? Also how many times should you be washing/using this in a week?

It’s best to avoid using conditioner on scalp because it could lead to flat hair weighed down by an overabundance of oil ☺️ I learned from many to apply conditioner only on ends of hair and shampoo on scalp and roots!

I think the shampoo does! I am not too sure about the conditioner. I am guessing since the bottle doesn't say anything about being sulfate free, it might have it in there.

I've been using this product for the past year since discovering it on Costco and my wife also has hypothyroidism and she went through massive hair loss postpartum. We started using this product and her hair loss overall slowly started to stop and her hair started to grow back richer and thicker. I'm not sure if the credit goes completely to this product, but one thing is for sure is that it definitely stopped any further hair loss. My wife is in love with the product and we had to stock up on them just in case Costco

I think its probably the Ginseng. It’s a smell and taste that has to be aquired.

This shampoo has my scalp itching and sore. It contains sulphate which is bad for sensitive skin.

Found this shampoo at a thrift store brand new for like 4 bucks. Never really paid attention to shampoo or anything like that before. Tried it and my hair hasn't looked so good in years. After regular shampooing my hair goes dull and limp. Not with this one. And the itchiness is gone as well.

aw man, i've been pronouncing this brand's name wrong this whole time.

I didn't dare to buy the treatment, because it sounds intensive. Got the oriental conditioner instead. Thanks for the review tho.

Oh goodness, I am definitely not the best at keeping a healthy diet. I think it's mostly my genetics, but I do try to make sure I don't eat too unhealthy! I believe in giving yourself a treat a few times a week though! I can't live without my sweets!
