game of thrones has been around some 15 years, the books some 30 years. then matt smith comes along couple of months ago and becomes the ultimate definition of the word Targaryen

Your Word Is True and Just, Maybe that is why he is GRRM's favorite Targaryen. For me personally, He is the true Heir, A Targaryen's True line of succession. Believe it or not, Viserys is a dumb decision-maker not fit to be a Targaryen maybe that is why the throne killed him eventually.

Matt Smith is one amazing and iconic actor of this time and generation. He made Prince Daemon larger than life.

Ok, that’s it. Deamon is one the the coolest characters in the history of television, and casting Matt into this is just a masterpiece.

Daemon beating the piss out off messenger to the beat of the music at 1:15 is some kind of dope synchronization combo I've never seen. This video goes hard.

Just the way we were introduced to him in the first episode was perfection. Sitting on the Iron Throne, in darkness and speaking Valyrian. He has become my favorite character and cannot wait to see what they do with him. Matt Smith has made this role his own. 🤌

Of all the Targs, Daemon is the biggest walking-talking anomaly. Complex and full of grey shades. This video has captured the various layers of his personality very well indeed!

The subtlety of Matts performance is just so AMAZING. HE is a screen stealer yet fully allows others to shine in scenes that are not meant to be his to steal. Ive been in awe of this guy since Lost River. Hes just so unique.

The greatest tribute video I have ever seen, anywhere. 10/10

Daemon may have had issues with his brother for who he and how he was and acted as the king but nobody can deny that towards the end he definitely had his brothers back more than anyone and that it was awesome that he was the only 1 who walked up there and helped his brother up so that he could stand tall again in front of everyone there and he was not about to let anyone else run their mouth towards him and he made that evident when he straight up cut dudes head off at the middle and made an example of him right in front of the court. Deamon might have evil in him but who doesn't, he's badass lol

I sincerely appreciate it. And I put about 60 to 65 hours in about 5 days into completing it. But in the end, the video reaching the right people, that end up enjoying it, always makes the time worth it.

i replay it over n over again, i see daemon like myself, impulsive, stubborn, but very loyal to family, blood thicker than water

A true prince who knows how to extend his boundaries and show whats there boundaries to not let them out of it

Simply mind blowing 👏 I remember when hotd first airs people were hating on his character and said that Matt looks weird and such to play a Targaryen. Hope those people are eating their words now. Not all Targaryens are the standard beauty like the siblings Dany and Viserys. Daemon's mother Alyssa too was not what you would call a beauty with mismatched eyes but Balon loves her and only her. Plus she's a badass and good with the sword, as soon as Viserys and Daemon were born she took them flying on Meleys, there's none like her. I'm glad Daemon is a badass like his mother. Matt Smith was born for this role, there's something otherworldly ethereal about his portrayal of Daemon Targaryen the Rogue Prince.

I’m one of the people that rolled my eyes and hated Matt Smith being chosen for this role. I couldn’t get past his Dr. role and I knew he would butcher this role. I was wrong!! I am waiting to watch the series, but just watching these clips, he is killing this role in the most awesome way & I couldn’t imagine anyone else stepping into this role & doing it justice. So, yes, Matt has turned many naysayers into huge fans🙂

I cannot express how absolutely stunning this is. from the music to the editing to the choice of dialogue to how you sewed everything together. UGH it's just so well made and the narrative, i think, perfectly displays why daemon is such a great character. he teeters between good and bad qualities and you put the emphasis on all his best qualities without erasing the worst ones. a cinematic masterpiece honestly. it's so good i hope matt smith sees this and goes 'you get it'. just just 10000/10 brilliant stunning gorgeous.
