Daegu South Korea Monorail timelapse 대구 도시철도 3호선 ⁴ᴷ⁶⁰
I spent many days and nights filming the Daegu Monorail, which is Line 3 of the metro system. The monorail is completely automated, and it was fun to look at the timetable for the train and know precisely when a train will arrive. I tried to film during the rush hours because they ran a few extra trains. Watching these trains come from the yard and switch into the line was interesting!

모노레일 열차 중에서 몇몇 열차는 캐릭터 테마열차입니다. 아이들의 동심을 지켜주는 열차죠! 최근에는 대부분의 열차에 광고를 붙이고 다닙니다.

Daegu Metro Line 3 is the first monorail metro in South Korea. Also the 1st longest unmanned monorail line in the world. Include the manned monorail, it's the world's 4th longest in the world.

One more thing: The train also has technology that can use electric shocks to cover windows white. This technology is used in the middle of the apartment section, which was developed to protect the privacy of apartment residents.

@@도하29 유인 모노레일이라는 뜻이에요. 즉, 기관사가 운전하는 모노레일은 manned이고요, 반대로 무인으로 운영되는 건 unmanned라는 단어를 사용합니다

Thank you, yes I stayed up to get the inspection vehicle. I was pretty sure it was coming and I got the shot from my hotel room, so I went to sleep immediately after getting the shot!

So true! I love this monorail as well as the ones in Chongqing. The Tokyo monorail to Heneda airport is also an excellent example.

@@Daren_PNW the ride is very bumpy, you can see in the footage Luke has recorded from inside the train. "Allegedly", "apparently", "some say that" it's due to imperfections on the tracks. The whole line was closed for months after parts fell off a train. This also happened shortly after the trains started operating at their full performance (peaking at about 80km/h).
