I would suggest covering the deck and ramp with 1/4 in plywood. And put traction tape on that. That would stop the wheels from getting stuck. I bought one of these for my snowblower. It also helps to get an anti wobble for the hitch.

Char Luna I picked up mine last night from Harbor Freight. After watch this video, I’m going to keep a 2’x4’ piece of plywood in the back of my truck.

Womb Raider I ended up getting a four wheel mobility scooter. The carrier has worked out just fine. I had to move my license plate off the truck, and install it on the carrier, in order for it to be visible. I also had to buy a license light for the new location of the vehicle plate. For safety I added small L.E.D lights and wired them to the break lights. I didn’t want someone to rear ended me and claim the the mobility scooter blocked the break lights from their vision. I made a pigtail wire harness and plugged it directly into my trailer inlet on my back bumper. One simple plug to remove and then slide the carrier out of the hitch receptacle. Harbor Freight sells two different models. I bought the 500 pound capacity carrier. I figured better to overrating verses underrating the carrier.

A hitch drop fixes this for about $34 on Amazon

We still have same problem the design was not made for the wheel chairs .I woul say .we have to us a board wish I would of spent more money for a better one.

What are your thoughts on this carrier after owning it for sometime now? Was in the market for one that won’t be used daily.

I would like to know if the chair was still there when they arrived at their destination. Harbor freight? Good luck!

I think this carrier is very poor designed for this type of wheelchairs

My 4 wheel maxima scooter bottoms out at the top of the ramp. I have it on the back of a Ram 1500. Any suggestions?? My wife and I have a hard time loading and unloading it. The ramp is too steep
